Adorable room with kitchenette and soaking tub. Out in the country but close to everything Barbara host was fabulous and so easy to work with really enjoyed Stay

Lovely Country Setting

Very nice place to stay. We sat outside and watched the chickens and Barbara made us a lovely banana bread. We slept well on the comfy king bed and truly appreciated the quiet countryside.

Little hideaway

Friendly hosts. Off the beaten path. Beautifully decorated. Just a little more compact than we had expected and would have appreciated a private patio.

Rustic

If you are looking for a 5 star resort place to stay, then this is not it. But if you are looking for the best down home, laid back place to spend a few days then this is definitely the place! It is so quite that you will wonder if your ears still work. Barbara is great and her bread is soooooo good.

Great Place

This little apartment was so adorable! We loved the king size bed with all the pillows. It was perfect for a quick get away from Dallas and the location was convenient to explore Granbury and Glen Rose. Barbara was a wonderful host and her banana nut bread is delicious!

Only 10 minutes away from Spartan race!

My husband and I decided to stay here for the spartan race as it was only a 10 minute drive from the event! Everything looks just like in the pictures and YES the banana bread was waiting for us when we arrived. Barbara was incredibly nice as she gave us advice on places of interest, alternative routes that avoided heavy traffic, as well as interesting information about native fruits and plants in the area.

Wonderful, quaint place

We had a wonderful weekend...this rental is exactly what we wanted! Quiet, clean, comfy, and convenient to shopping in downtown Granbury! Very comfortable bed and pillows! And the sweet host, Barbara, had fresh, warm banana bread in the kitchen waiting for us! So yummy!

Great place to get away and relax!

Room is secluded and very quiet. No traffic noise! Host was great to deal with. Bed was comfortable and Barb was good with making sure the room was a comfortable temperature.

So pretty outside, lovely cottage, and secluded area. If you check in at night be sure to bring bug spray since they are drawn to the light outside.

Peaceful retreat

Barbara was incredibly easy to communicate with and the property was just as described. It was easy to find and just tucked away enough to be quiet and peaceful, but still very close to town. Barbara is a very hospitable host and available for anything you may need! Highly recommend!

Peaceful & Quiet

A wonderful place to get away from the pressure of everyday life. The covered patio was the perfect place to read, watch birds and experience the quiet rhthyms of nature. Barbara was a great host, the fresh baked banana bread was a great touch. Highly recommended!

Cute secluded apartment in the woods

The property is a cute little secluded apartment attached to hosts house., but has own entry door. Host was very helpful and communicated well with us. Nice place to rest while we were visiting Granbury family. The banana nut bread was a nice little bonus to come home to.

Weekend trip for July 4th

Barbara was an amazing host! She went above and beyond in accommodating. Barbara reached out beforehand and during to assist with the stay, gave ideas on things to do around and made the best banana nut bread. The place was super cozy and quiet. I loved the scenery and atmosphere of the area. Also, I had the best sleep because the bed was so comfortable. I’m only sad I wasn’t able to stay longer and enjoy the outside area more.
