Beautiful location

Our family was very comfortable at Driftwood Cottage. We enjoyed walking to the nearby parks and making bonfires in the evenings. Great location for beaches and Island visits.

This place was amazing, it had everything we needed down to the crock pot and the hosts were very responsive. We would have been just fine having only packed food and clothes with how well stocked this rental was. It was very central to a lot of tourist attractions in the area as well, only about a 20 minute drive to get to the islands. The neighborhood was very quiet and the neighbors were friendly. Lastly the beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms had good privacy for a close knit group of friends. We definitely would rent here again if we ever visit the area!

Everything was amazing. The decor truly makes you feel that you are away at a Northwoods cabin where the stress melts away. Rooms and beds were all very comfortable, great amenities, had everything you could ever want. Great spaces to eat, meet, play games (which they provide many to play), high speed WiFi, and great areas to lounge and relax. The yard is wonderful and my daughter loves the hammock in back. Great grill setup and everything inside and outside was perfect. So glad we stayed here. Host was very hospitable, great communication, warm and welcoming.

This is an older home in a small town, but while not the Ritz it was perfect for me and my two friends. The shared spaces were plenty large and we each got our own bedroom. The location was also ideal for us, away from the bustle of Bayfield but conveniently near to both Bayfield and Ashland. Very peaceful setting. Several restaurants and a grocery store were within a mile (so walkable if you’re so inclined).

Great place to stay in Washburn

Had a great weekend stay, the house was very clean and well kept. The owners have done an excellent job fixing it up. The owners do a great job with communication as well. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Perfect size for our family

Great place to stay if you are in the bay area. Everything we needed was there and the location is great if you enjoy small towns and walks down by the lake. Would stay here again and recommend. Very clean and everyone was friendly.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was beautiful, thoughtfully appointed, and served as the perfect home base for a fantastic week with our adult children while we explored the area.Everything was exceptionally clean, and we especially appreciated the comfortable beds, high-quality bedding, and plush towels. Those details made our week-long stay feel especially relaxing and comfortable.The outdoor space was another highlight—we spent several evenings enjoying it together.Communication with the host was outstanding. They were friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from booking through checkout.We highly recommend this home and would gladly stay here again!

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed the clean kitchen and comfortable living room. Large yard and outdoor firepit was nice. Cottage was as described.

This was an amazing stay. We had ample parking for our truck and trailer for utvs. Accessing trails was easy in/around Washburn. Driftwood Cottage was thoughtfully maintained and provided an amazing home base for exploring. The details and dedication to visitors was evident in the amenities of the house such as charging chords, well stocked kitchen, ample cozy decorations and home design and even the kid focused toys! All the local brochures provided were a nice touch for visitors!! We highly recommend this stay and can not thank the hosts enough for providing us a great family experience.

We enjoyed the cool decor of the whole house, which included thoughtful touches like beach towels, pamphlets on local attractions, plus art and decor inspired by the area. The multiple sitting areas around the house were inviting and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked which we appreciated. We would definitely stay again!
