This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Very tight patking area. Couch was very uncomfortable. Will be quite some time before fhis neighborhood is tourist ready because of redevelopment. Construction noise was disruptive.

Mary, thanks for staying! Parking downtown is tight but we are lucky to have private off-street parking for our guests. Happy to look into a new couch, this is the first we have heard this. Our neighborhood is the only one that allows for 30 day or less rentals so all VRBOs will be in the same area. Come back soon we would be happy to host.

The coffee maker was broken. The heat in the home was unevenly distributed with the upstairs too warm and the downstairs very cold. Employees of the host violated the host's own parking regulations on three occasions. Light bulbs were burned out on both interior & exterior light fixtures. None of the downstairs furniture was comfortable! Hot water was not readily available to the primary bathroom sink unless the shower hot water had first been running a long time. The host was very responsive to my concerns, but this property needs a lot of improvements!

Check in and check out was smooth. House is very charming! Extremely clean and comfortable! Owner is very quick to respond and friendly. Would definitely recommend. Close to all things down town and only 18 minutes from sullivan’s island beach.

Location is super close to everything. Beds comfortable, nearby construction was a little annoying but sound Machines in both bedrooms helped. Overall stay was great!

We Loved our stay. Be aware, if you are driving a large vehicle, the driveway is intimidating, however you got it! Perfect for our family of 5 attending The Shipyard for baseball. We walked to several places nearby for dinner and dessert.

We had a great time and a great stay. Location was about a half block from King Street so walked most everywhere. Only complaint at this time was the construction noted by others, but not much the owners can do. The sound machines were a great thought and somewhat helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Our family really enjoyed our stay! Such a cute little gem of a property! We loved the nearby restaurants (especially Big Bad Breakfast!) that were literally a block away as well as the easy walk to downtown.

We had a wonderful stay. The place is cute and cozy, the driveway is narrow. It was very walkable and had great spots to eat nearby.

Vaca rental was relatively close to visitors center. Kitchen was well stocked. We didn’t spend much time in the rental because of seeing the town, but when there the furniture was not the most comfortable and the up and coming area was a little rough. Large vehicles will experience problems.
