First impression about the place was that it felt very secluded from the city. It really did live up to the experience. Being outside and enjoying the garden was a joy. The small yet big thing for us was that beach towels were provided. There is a booklet that helped us find places to eat in the area. It was a nice layout of the house and with plenty of amenities to help with our stay as you explore San Diego.

This property is truly an oasis in a very hectic area. Extremely convenient to anywhere you’d want to be in greater San Diego. Kitchen was very well stocked. Stacey, the manager, was very responsive both before and after we got there. A bit tricky to find at first (trust the directions!!!) but worth it for the seclusion and privacy. We would definitely stay there again.

The house was clean and the beds, pillows, sheets, towels were fantastic. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and tranquil. Very special. Communication with the host was great. I was worried about hearing the Highway but it wasn’t bad at all (those cars with the mufflers are horrible no matter what). Very quiet inside. Very comfortable and pretty home. Thank you!!

Absolutely beautiful home to stay in for our time in San Diego. The yard was arguably my favorite part. I absolutely loved all the plants. It is just beautiful. The art work in the home was lovely, and having an enclosed yard with parking is a huge score for the area. I learned that more after being here for the trip. lol. Stacey was excellent with communication, the home was clean and well stocked with everything we could need. It was perfect.

We loved the seclusion and security of this location. It fits the 6 people listed comfortably. The common areas are spacious. We loved the landscaping!

We chose this property from perusing the listing as well as the location. We enjoyed the secluded and beautifully landscaped property while still being close to a myriad of attractions throughout the city. The entire residence was extremely clean and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with all the amenities necessary to prepare our meals. The refrigerator, stove and microwave were updated and of a good quality as were the washer/dryer. The outdoor sitting area and its furniture were more than abundant for our needs. The bathroom/beach linens were of a very good quality and plentiful. Lastly, our host Stacey was extremely attentive to our needs and comfort during our stay. We exchanged emails a few times throughout our stay and she responded immediately. It was apparently during our contacts Stacey wanted to ensure we had an enjoyable experience.

This was a great house to stay at! While the drive back to the house may make you wonder, it is like arriving at an oasis when you enter the gate. The location is wonderful as it was easy to get everywhere. We definitely would stay here again!

This is a jewel: surrounded by natural vegetation and trees with custom landscaping in progress. No other homes in sight. A great location, convenient to all the primary highways, yet completely quiet, at the gated end of the long drive. Relaxing outside was very peaceful. Lots of birds and butterflies. Stacey is very responsive to any concerns or questions. A good collection of tourism brochures is on hand. We used 50 Best Short Hikes, and 10 Best of San Diego. An older couple, we did benefit from a raised toilet seat adapter. The dishwasher and laundry equipment worked flawlessly. Enjoy!

We loved our stay here. It was nestled in the hills and felt very serene and secluded. Location was great with easy access to beaches and downtown San Diego including the San Diego Zoo. Communication was fantastic, and the property manager was very helpful. If we go back to San Diego we would definitely stay here again!

A New Jersey Native, I purchased a Winter Home in Southern California back in 2007 and soon after decided to make the full-time move WEST because of the Sun and the weather that is conducive to my active lifestyle. We are 2.5 hours from Palm Springs, LA, DisneyLand and minutes from La Jolla, Del Mar, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, downtown San Diego, the Convention Center and 20 minutes to Tijuana.

Location, Location , Location. San Diego is home to one of the most temperate climates. It is close to the water and is within driving distance of mountains, ski resorts, deserts and hiking.

When the automated gate opens, and you enter a beautifully landscaped yard, It's not what you would expect. I love that the house is like a tree house and is secluded yet so central to all San Diego has to offer. Love watching the many species of birds and the private spaces.
