This was an amazing, clean, well-stocked property. I was our perfect mountain escape for our young family of 7. Its central location to RMNP, Monarch Lake, Winter Park, and more was everything we wanted. Kris and Dave provided simple, easy to follow directions and great recommendations for local restaurants, where to find a grocery store, etc. We will definitely be returning in the future!

This VRBO rental is a stunning, modern, newly built home that my spouse, children, and I consider one of the best vacation rentals we have experienced to date. From start to finish, our stay exceeded expectations. We give this thoughtfully designed home our highest recommendation for many reasons, including the excellent communication and responsiveness of the owners, David and Kristin. The open-concept kitchen and beautifully bathrooms provided both comfort and functionality, while the laundry facilities were a welcome convenience for our family. The clean home features four spacious bedrooms, each equipped with a comfortable king-sized bed, along with inviting upper and lower-level living spaces that allowed everyone to relax and unwind. Additional amenities, including the hot tub, foosball table, propane fire table, and selected finishes and color palettes throughout the home, created a warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the home's most remarkable features is its location. Nestled on the side of a mountain in Grand County, Colorado, the property offers stunning views of the mountain valley and Lake Granby from both the expansive deck and lower patio. Morning coffee and evening sunsets enjoyed from these outdoor spaces quickly became some of our favorite moments of the trip. Our family enjoys traveling throughout the United States to explore National Parks, and this home alsoearned high marks due to its convenient proximity to the Rocky Mt. west entrance. We will be back!

We had plenty of room for us 4 sisters and our husbands! We enjoyed being together and grilling and cooking! All was so handy and easy. The drive to the house was great! Thanks for having us!!

Loved our stay

This property is absolutely great. The fresh air and the views were incredible. The house was more than enough room to accommodate three couples and one 4 year old. Kitchen was well stocked with most of everything we needed. We also had a Marmot family about 60 yards away from the property that kept us entertained during our 3 night stay. Not having WiFi was not as challenging as we thought it’d be. It did give us an opportunity to unplug for a while. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is there were a few minor inconveniences such as no towel racks in the bathrooms; couldn’t shut some of the blinds all the way; and no coffee table upstairs or downstairs. We played card games before our dinners and used coolers for a tabletop. We just wanted to lounge on the couches while we played while the dinner table was being set. Again...nothing major. It was perfect for our 3 night stay. Beautiful property and the owners were a delight to work with. I’d recommend this property for groups who want to visit the great outdoors.

On the ridge at Grandby

Very nice property with a great view of the valley below. For us it was the perfect place. We had an easy drive to access Rocky Mountain National Park . As well as Grand Lake for those items like groceries that we needed. The property was well stocked with the basics to make our stay comfortable.

Week of ATV Trail Riding

Perfect location to the trails. Beautiful views from the house. We brought our own RZRs and were able to drive them from the house to the trails. The house is well equipped, better than other houses we have stayed in. No complaints.

Lake Granby Aug 2020

We really enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 kids. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen had everything that we needed. We especially liked the fact that we could step outside and experience the beautiful outdoors with not a lot of other people in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

Womderful home with beautiful view!

We loved this home. It was beautiful with plenty of room for our two families. We enjoyed gorgeous views of Lake Granby and the mountains from the front deck as well as the large windows from the living room and upper level sitting area. One evening we took some amazing pictures of a rainbow over the lake from the deck. We grilled and prepared a few meals while we were there. The kitchen had everything we needed. We also liked the fact that there were plenty of plush towels, extra bedding, lysol wipes, hand sanitizer, laundry soap, dish soap, etc. It was off the beaten path which we loved but recommend that 4 wheel drive! We saw elk, deer, chipmunks and marmot from the backyard. A sweet little hummingbird also had a nest on the back deck. The owners were very nice and quick to respond. We loved our Colorado stay and hope to be back soon!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL

Our stay at the Bull Mountain Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The house was perfect in every way for the 6 of us with plenty of room for all of us. The owners greeted us at the house when we arrived, which was very nice and thoughtful to make sure that we made it to the house okay after a long drive from Denver International Airport. The owners were very responsive, both leading up to our stay and throughout our stay, answering any of our questions quickly. The beds were extremely comfortable! Plenty of amenities throughout the house and the house and kitchen was well stocked with plenty of housewares items, just like being at home. The bathrooms were well stocked with plenty of towels. I would HIGHLY and I mean HIGHLY recommend this house to anyone and everyone wanting to stay in an awesome house! Bull Mountain Lodge is a stunning house in an absolutely stunning location with spectacular views. We could not have been any more comfortable in this house, feeling completely safe and secure at all times! Absolutely loved the mugs and coasters (THANK YOU!) I could go on and on about our wonderful stay! If we ever get back to the Grand Lake/Winter Park area and hopefully we will sometime in the future, this is the only house that we would want to stay. Thank you to the owners for being so nice and allowing us to stay in your AWESOME home.

This house burned down during the Troublesome fire in 2020 and we just finished rebuilding even better. The wrap around deck has amazing views in every direction. At the top of the hill, this house has no next door neighbors and is very quiet.

This hilltop property is a couple miles back into the hills, but the drive is worth it. Drive slow and look for wildlife. Moose love the meadow. This glass front house provides stunning views of the lakes and surrounding mountain range. Come get lost where life moves more slowly.
