This cabin was perfect for our family of 4 to bring in the New Year. The mountain and lake views were SO beautiful from the deck! It was amazing waking up and drinking coffee to that view every morning. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and it had a huge family table to eat together and play games. Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

Great location

It would have been nice to not have to go to the office to check in and out. Great location and it was perfect for our family of five. I realize that it’s a pet friendly place but didn’t like all of the urine stains on the carpet 🤮

Beautiful cabin with spectacular view!

We loved staying here… the new deck is amazing and we loved watching the fireworks right from the deck! Great deck furniture. Well stocked kitchen! Nice grill. Loved the Keurig and Alexa! Close to town! Great time!!!!

Overall pleasing stay

The view is incredible and the property is clean & comfortable. Saw a mama and two baby deer outside one morning. Having to deal with a 3rd party rental company (lack of flexible check-in, extra paperwork, waiting weeks for security deposit refund) despite renting a VRBO is a little frustrating.

Vrbo is a third-party booking platform and while they have a standard range of policies those listing their homes can adopt, independent homeowners, and rental companies (neither being third parties but the direct representatives) can all utilize the platform for marketing. This means that check in procedures and many other policies can differ from home to home on Vrbo. In fact, all of our policies and procedures do align with the professional standards Vrbo requires. Very nice accommodations with a patio that had spectacular views that we enjoyed with coffee and cocktails. We would definitely stay here again. Only a few minutes to the heart of town.

Amazing View and Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the new deck looking out at the lake and the mountains and watching the birds. We even had two moose walk through the property one morning! Being so close to the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance was also a huge bonus for us. We definitely would stay here again!

Reviewer Comments: The home was great. Views from the side deck were just amazing looking down on Shadow Mountain Lake, Grand Lake and the mountains. Appreciated all of the furniture (tables and chairs, and outdoor sofa and coffee table) out there. Kitchen had plenty of supplies for all our cooking needs. The grill on the deck was also appreciated. We would definately recommend this place.

Nice House with Great Lake View

My only recommendation would be update the furniture in the downstairs living area ... very uncomfortable as you sink down about 6 inches or more ... and add a TV. We would have loved spending time there but couches were too bad.

Relaxing Christmas!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had the most relaxing Christmas! Beautiful views! Nice big dining area for the family to gather. Everyone at Grand Mountain Rental was nice and very helpful which is a plus! The house was cozy and very clean! Only a few minor things that need an update as stated in the other reviews like the showers were very hard to get to a warm temperature and mattresses were very uncomfortable but nothing like a good update couldn't handle. Other then that we loved our stay!
