Newly renovated beach front house on one of the area's nicest secluded beaches! All 4 bedrooms have ocean views with balconies/terraces. Luxury boutique hotel, Casa de Mita, is 2 doors down and available for dinner reservations, as is the Punta Mita/Four Seasons Resort 1/2 mile away.

Housekeeping service included; professional property management. Linens are white and changed 2X per week. All furniture is new and in a Mexican rustic colonial style. Wireless internet included with flat screen TV. Swim in the private pool or ocean just steps away!

Beautiful home, well-maintained property. If you want a vacation where you do nothing else but beach and pool, Casa Serena is your spot. The staff is also incredibly friendly and efficient, they help with any questions or concerns that raise in minutes. We will be coming back for sure!

Definitely our happy place

This is our second time at Casa Serena… we love it here. Majestic views with private pool and our own beach access. Heaven on earth!

Beautiful Casa Serena

We had the best time. Casa Serena is the perfect place for a family who is looking for some quiet and the end of an adventure filled day. It has all the amenities you could need. Completely beautiful and we are missing the sound of the ocean already.

Punta Negra beautiful experience

This property is what I always looked for and more. Beautiful private beach, great pool, amazing views, safe area, great nearby restaurants, and last but not least, the staff went out of their way to always answer any question and help us. We hope to come back and enjoy it again very soon. Thank you for the experience.

Beautiful week!

My family with 4 adult children stayed for the week. Super responsive to any questions we had. The owners were kind enough to allow the chef we hired to enter the property before we arrived. They also had plenty of amenities for their guests. The grounds, pool and home had everything you could need. We will definitely return!

Amazing house!

Elizabeth’s property is absolutely incredible. It’s right on the beach, which you can’t beat, has a refreshing pool, and if you’d like breakfast or dinner prepared for you, it can be arranged. What more do you need?! Also, there are two restaurants along the beach to check out. Or, venture into town for some margaritas and other fun restaurants! We Came here for our honeymoon and we were absolutely blown away. We will definitely be back - this place is very special.

Anniversary Trip

The house was great, stunning views from the windows, balconies and outside deck. Quick beach access and the private pool is a major plus. Plenty of areas for entertaining, with inside and outside furniture to support. Mix of palm trees and a lot space allows for as much or little sun as you desire. The property is well maintained and staffed by a friendly and helpful family. Beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards are provided. Beach is nice sand and shallow to allow for safe activities in the ocean. A marvelous place through and through.

The perfect vacation

Our group of 4 stayed in the house for a week and were extremely happy. The pictures do not do the house and setting justice. The beach is beautiful with few visitors and the house is spacious and well kept. The pool and view was superb, we would just sit and stare at the ocean with whales breaching. The house staff was extremely thorough and responsive. The house is slightly off the beaten path and acts as a refuge from the hustle and bustle but the towns are close by to enjoy shopping and eating out. We would gladly stay here again!

Most Relaxing Week of My Life

With the political climate being what it is, I didn’t think I was going to be able to relax this close to the transition of power in the US. I am glad to be proven wrong. The property is gorgeous. It has everything you need. The owners prepared me well in advance annd the communication was quick and comprehensive. The family in charge of helping out were friendly and attentive. I would willingly come back every year..

Amazing Value!

My wife and 3 kids (ages 3, 6, 8) stayed with another family of 4 and had an amazing week on the beach! The hosts Doug and Liz are amazing, the caretaker at the house was very helpful, and being on that amazing beach steps away was unforgettable! There are some aspects of the house that weren't little kid friendly but we were fine. The only tiny critique was maybe that the queen beds would have been nice as king and would have been great to have curtains to help with morning sunrise. But overall tiny issues which didn't mess with our amazing, unforgettable week.

It is with a full heart and a deep sense of peace that I depart Casa Serena in Mexico. From the moment I arrived, I felt embraced by the warmth and hospitality of the staff—who are truly the heart of this home.Mr. Fortino and Mrs. Metali took such good care of us . Andrea and Dyra came to cook for us twice… it’s a must do!This beautiful property is not only immaculate in every detail, but also set against a backdrop of pristine ocean views that soothe the soul.What makes Casa Serena truly special is the way it makes you feel completely at home, even while being far from it. The service is impeccable—some of the best I have ever experienced—thanks to the kindness and attentiveness of the family who runs it. Doug and his wife are incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about ensuring their guests experience the very best of what Casa Serena has to offer.I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It’s more than just a beautiful getaway—it’s a sanctuary.

Exceptional home and location

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The house is absolutely beautiful, situated right on the beach. The staff at the house, Fortino, Juan and Metarli, were kind and very welcoming. In fact, Juan made guacamole for us upon our arrival. We bought groceries on our way to the house and enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with anything we needed. We also enjoyed having Marina cook for us a few nights. That was a real treat! The meals were incredible. The location of Casa Serena is perfect as well. We were a 10 minute drive to great surfing, 5 minutes to the small downtown of Punta Mita and an easy car drive to other great towns to explore like Bucerias, Sayulita and San Pancho. We rented a car in Puerta Vallarta, but heard it is easy to uber around the area if you don't have a car. We will definitely look forward to staying again at Casa Serena.

Best Vacaction of Our Life

Exceptional!!! My family will be returning year after year. This was the most beautifully kept home with the most breathtaking views and the waves lul you to sleep every night! I have extremely high expectations for my vacations and this was by far the most exquisite, romantic, fun, relaxing, pampering trip I have ever been on. It is all due to the extreme care of the property taken by the owners and the meticulous to detail of the landscaping, pool and home. I will be bringing my entire family next year! Just book it. You won't regret it and it will be the vacation of your dreams!

The home was wonderful and so accommodating and actually on the beach!!

We loved staying at Casa Serena! This property is actually on the beach and a short 5 min walk to a cute restaurant called Barracudas which had great food. We loved taking walks on the beach and then of course driving into town to Punta Mita. Our family loved our stay and would highly recommend this place.

Our own private paradise!

The property is even more dreamy and vibrant than the online photos in the listing. When we arrived, we were greeted by the property attendant, Juan, and shown around. It is a private lush and tropical paradise - fully equipped with everything we needed. The home is gorgeously designed and the layout is perfect. We loved the traditional Spanish architecture combined with modern upgrades and amenities. And the beach is incredible! White sand and clear, warm water. We swam every day. On the weekdays, we had most of the beach all to ourselves. The weekends were a little more crowded with local families but still much less crowded than the beaches where we live in CA. We had a wonderful cook, Marina come a few nights and cook us traditional Mexican food - highly recommend! With the pandemic, we don't go out to eat much so it was a special treat to have someone else do the cooking and clean up. If we had any questions, Elizabeth was quick to respond and help out. I can't say enough about this property - it is the perfect, safe escape from quarantine. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful vacation

Casa Serena was the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. Every day we ventured out for a mini day excursion (San Pancho, jet skiing, tour of Marietta islands, restaurants) and it was a great place to come back to every day as we could spent hours in the pool or boogie boarding in the ocean. Juan came and set up the beach chairs every day and his daughter cleaned the place a couple times while we were there making us feel like we were at a luxurious resort. They were so friendly but non intrusive at the same time. Elizabeth the owner was quickly responsive to any questions that we had. Thanks for the memories and we'll definitely recommend Casa Serena too all our friends.

Perfect vacation for family

We had a three generation family vacation at this house. It turned out to be the perfect place for us. The house is pretty, spacious, well-designed with more features than we needed. Well equipped in terms of tools and toys in the kitchen, pool and for beach life. The children (3-7) and adults (4) played all day long in the pool or on the beach. The children couldn't really go into the sea but the constant wave action caused a lot of excitement - and also noice. We pretty well had the whole beach to ourselves, so scenic. The house keeping staff kept the house and grounds clean and tidy. We had a cook for two nights and that made our life even easier because we didn't have to worry about grocery shopping. We certainly recommend this house and location.
