This cozy cabin is on a relaxing piece of property that is so close to everything, but you don't realize how close. You feel like you are much further away from the local attractions. The docks along the river are perfect for canoe/kayaks, or just sitting. The cabin is clean, and has supplies, but we found it was easier to bring our own paper plates/cups/cutlery. Matt was very much on top of everything with directions to the property and what to expect.

Information was exactly as listed for the cabin Location excellent, you can walk anywhere in town of Hayward. Cabins were formerly part of a little German built resort, so kind of close together, however area was very inviting and yes on the lake front with access to dock and canoe launch.

Our tiny cabin was perfect for what we were looking for, something a few hours outside of the twin cities to rest at for a two nights while we took a day trip up to Chequamegon bay, Ashland,Bayfield and Meyer Beach. Hayward itself is a cute little town as well. The fish museum was unexpectedly fun. Our cabin felt like it was tucked deep into the woods, despite being a block off one of the main roads and next to a small go kart and mini golf attraction. We picked up pizza from Coopers and had dinner on our porch. We loved how each cabin had its own outside night lights, walking path lights that made us feel safe but not overly intrusive and large fire pits spread out among the eight cabins. There are also three docks that spanned the small private grounds. You can hear looms an d frogs and we even had a round deer visit us while making smores! Everyone was quiet and respectful of the shared community and very friendly. Our cabin was the fancy fireflies which welcomed us with solar jar lights and inside custom curtains, pillow cases and artwork in the fireflies theme. It was nice to find a cabin which also welcomed our dog without a large cleaning fee tacked on. We brought our kayaks and were able to go under a bridge and right into the beautiful Hayward lake. You can also launch from this lake directly to the Namekegon river, so paddlers, this is your spot! Check in and out was simple, the cabin had everything we needed and will absolutely be back for more adventures!

Great property

Great little cabin for a couple nights stay. The grounds were well kept. It was beautiful sitting outside by the fire bonus was you can buy fire wood right on site! Would stay again!

Short Getaway

Enjoyed our one night stay in Fancy Fireflies cabin. Cute and rustic, with pathways between cabins. Price was right, too! Especially happy to find a dog-friendly place to stay.

Don't be fooled - it looks like there are 2 entrances here - but the second door is just a storage room. This is your own private cabin!

This is a pet-friendly (there will be a pet cleaning fee), perfect little cabin right in the heart of Hayward with easy access to everything you will want to do during your stay here!

Easy access using a key code & key.

We have a tv with cable & there is wifi!

We love & have lots of dogs and know how important it is to bring your pooch along on your adventure. We are pet-friendly but please let us know if you plan to bring yours, as we do charge a cleaning fee per pet ($25 per dog for the total stay). We will have to send you a separate request for this payment. We ask that you clean up after your dog (inside the cabin & outside), and do not leave your dog unattended in the cabin.

We provide the essentials - bath towels, shampoo/conditioner, soap, dish soap, coffee mugs, plates, utensils,. We have a keurig coffee maker with coffee, sugar and creamer for you. We have a small fridge, microwave and sink. There is an outdoor grill, you will need to bring charcoal & lighter fluid.

We have a few games in the dresser drawers for your use.

This is a small cabin community with some common/shared spaces - there are 2 firepits that are for you to use, picnic tables, and multiple docks. You can bring and launch your canoe or kayak right here on the water.
