Centrally located and perfectly situated! Beautiful historic Italianate home built in 1868. The Pond Winslow homestead has been awarded the prestigious Heritage Preservation award for Honor and Respect by the Saugatuck Douglas Historical Society. Located on the hill over looking the town square. The home has been beautifully updated, including kitchen, newly remodeled bathrooms and restored old growth hardwood flooring through out. First floor includes, dine in kitchen with laundry, living room, dining room, half bath, bed room (queen bed) with en-suite full bath, and glassed/screened in porch. Second floor has master bedroom (queen bed) with private sun porch, 3rd bedroom handcrafted bunk-bed (full on bottom, single on top) and full bath. Kitchen is fully out fitted Keurig pod or drip coffee (get some fresh roasted beans from Uncommon Grounds, just two blocks) - just bring your favorite food and beverages. Bedrooms and baths are complete with linens. Beautiful flag stone patio with large built in fire pit, lots of grilling accessories. 'Up North' feel in town! In laws want to come too? Ask about the additional cottage with room for two!


Quiet, peaceful location surrounded by mature trees and tranquil gardens, yet just a few steps from the thriving downtown with all of its associated activities: Shops, Antique Stores, Art Galleries, Restaurants, Bars and Coffee shops. Utilize the chain ferry and walk or ride your bike to the beautiful Oval Beach. Easy drive to the many local golf courses, Fenn-Valley Vineyards, Crane's Apple Orchard, Dune Schooners and other area attractions.

It was our first trip to Saugatuck and we loved the it, from the beautiful, well equipped home to the charming town with all the amazing restaurants and delightful shops. Our day at the gorgeous beach was a highlight of our stay. Already planning next year's trip to Saugatuck!!

Great home in an excellent location. Lots of space. Wonderful screened in porch and fire pit. Nice breeze in the house when you open windows. Walk to everything, including the performing arts center / farmer's market. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the Winslow house. Very clean, comfortable,nothing missing for our two nights. A well managed and organized home. We needed to contact Ken and he was very quick to answer our question. Beautiful yard and grounds. Our favorite was morning coffee and breakfast in the porch. So much charm enveloped this property! A short walk to downtown and the waterfront. This is a must stay when you are in Saugatuck !

A perfect stay for Tulip time! Close to the fun but away from the crowds. A beautiful historical home in a convenient area close to beach, restaurants, and shopping. Very clean and comfortable location for relaxing after a full day of exploring all this area has to offer….i would gladly stay here again!

Absolutely perfect location. Walkable to all of the restaurants and shops. Down sides were the AC. The house is old so the AC does not push a lot of air to the second floor, almost a noticeable 10 degree difference. Lastly, their linens and mattresses. The mattresses felt like they came with the original house, coils and all. And the linens need to be replaced, looked and felt old/too used.

We loved our stay at the Winslow house! Everything was super clean and comfy. We were in town for Tulip Time in Holland. Eating, shopping, and staying in Saugatuck was just right. Would definitely return.

Hello, Happy Family Picture---traveling somewhere????. Graduated from Saugtuck High School in 1981. Family has owned the house since 1978. Bought the house from my mom 25 years back or so, planned to live there, but life got in the way!!! Get back when we can, our loss is your gain!

Why they chose this property

It is the house I grew up in, would never let it go... come visit and you will see why!!!

What makes this property unique

Wonderful old house that overlooks downtown, at least when the leaves are not on the tress. Very enjoyable as you can walk to everything in town, shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Park the car at the house, and forget about it for the rest of your stay. Kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms are all up to date and in good clean condition. Additionally, local management and over site of the property ensures none of the unforeseen problems that can result from long distance newbie owners that may not be fully aware of the day to day situation.
