We had a wonderful stay! We only left the property to drive the short drive into town to eat. The cabin was very clean and thoughtfully decorated. We loved the view of the creek. We needed peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got! Will definitely be renting again!

Cabin was comfortable and clean. Love the outdoor living area with fireplace, hot tub, comfy couch, and several tables. We got to see 5 deer in the woods from the dining room on our last morning. Cabin was close to grovery stores and activities.

We absolutely loved our time at this property! Our favorite parts were all of the seating options (covered deck, inside, and screened in porch) that were all five feet away from the creek. Being so near the water was wonderful! Other high points included plenty of seating zones inside (more than just one couch), a kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils, overall cleanliness, and the dock for direct water access. The host response was slower than typical for VRBO, as it connected to the rental company and not the person listed as the host. We had questions about deck lighting and it took almost 48 hours to get a response. I called and texted the VRBO messaging and the number provided on Monday. We received more timely responses by Wednesday. Two notes for those with sensitive allergies: the outdoor couch was covered in animal dander (whether from a wild animal or domesticated). I’m very specific to only book “no pet” places. We were unable to use this seating because we all had immediate and strong allergic reactions. However, we were able to use plenty of other seating options! The second issue was with a strong odor in the queen bedroom. Not sure what it was, but my asthmatic and sensitive skin daughter struggled a bit. For many, these won’t matter but for some, like our family, it’s good to note ahead of time. Overall, we truly had a fantastic and wonderfully relaxing time!!! We hope to book again!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was so clean and cozy — you can tell the owners take great care of it. The location right by the creek was beautiful and made it such a peaceful getaway. We loved sitting outside and listening to the water.Just a heads-up for anyone planning to stay: the driveway going down to the cabin is a bit tricky, especially if wet, we struggled mightily to get up the driveway.

We fell so in love with this little creekside cabin. It was very clean and offered all of the necessities we needed for our weekend getaway. Everything was in working order and we didnt have any trouble. The creek is literally right off your back deck and is so peaceful. We would 10/10 recommend this beautiful place to family and friends.

Lovely quaint cabin, feels secluded. We really enjoyed the creek sounds and small rapids just down the creek from us, so relaxing. We would certainly go back, and have already recommended this cabin to our adult children (in their 30’s).

Make sure to bring any cooking spices especially pepper, salt, sugar. Cookware is very good and plentiful…Have all your passcodes available for TV logon

We’re sorry for the inconvenience of bringing your own condiments, but due to health regulations in place since before Covid-19, we’re unable to keep open containers in the cabin. The TV login information is also noted in the VRBO listing as requiring guests’ own app credentials. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you back again soon.
