We had a wonderful time in the charming cottage of Jérôme, a very friendly welcome when we arrived.( there even was a nice fire in the woodstove). Nice beds, a cosy kitchen with a big table in the the centre. Also the weather was sunny and bright.Hope to return, thank you very much Jerôme.

Relaxing holidays

The stay in Le Crotoy was more like visiting the well equipped house of a good friend than renting a vacation home. Very friendly host and a domicile next to the beach, to a small fish store and near the city center.

Our stay was wonderful. The house has a lot of character and the location is perfect, less than 500 meters from the center and the bay. Beautiful cycling routes nearby. We will definitely come back here.

Lovely house in a beautiful place

We had a brilliant weekend. The house was ideal. Jérôme was a great host. Le Crotoy is lovely. The restaurants were delicious and the beach was breathtaking.

Short and Sweet

As expected, very nice cosy cottage which suited our short stay very well. The stairs were a bit steep and small so that would be a problem if staying longer or if had limited mobility.The only thing is that we need to hire linen and towels so might be worth taking your own!

Well equipped house close to the sea.

Had great holidays with family of six. Discripition of the house fits well with details given in the advertisement. Only disadvantage is the very limited space to put own stuff (i.e. little space for clothes in cupboards or wardrobes).

Mixed Feeling

A little disappointed! Unfortunately we arrived in wet weather and couldn't gain access to the property. We assumed that we would be met, but apparently we needed to contact the non English speaking caretaker and our french is not conversational. Fortunately we were able to contact the owner who was able to arrange access. The property was generally functional, except for very steep stairs which gained access to the two bedrooms and bathroom towards the front. The stairs to the bedroom at the rear of the house were extremely steep,, making moving luggage upstairs impossible. The steps at the top gave way. One of the beds in that room comprised of slats which gave way when sat upon, resulting in the occupants putting the mattress on the floor to sleep. The house was in a good situation in the town, with easy street parking on a reasonable charge. We only moved the car once as we were able to walk to all shops and cafes/restaurants, where a friendly welcome was usually given. Would visit Le Crotoy again, not sure about the property, sorry!

Dear Roy, As you have experienced, our house is an old fisherman house with a lot of charm but not as functional as a recently build house. It has been made with steep staircase. It is part of the charm, I guess. As for the slats, it is repaired now. The caretaker has checked the house before your arrival and did not report a problem with the slats. And again, we ask our guests to message or call Nathalie (the caretaker) to set an appointment for the handing over of the keys. In spite all of this, we wish you the best for your next trip in the Baie de Somme. Best regards,

Charmante maison rénovée avec goût, très bien équipée. Parmi les nombreux livres à disposition, des guides locaux utiles. On se sent comme « à la maison », avec en plus produits de première nécessité . Le logement est bien situé, proche de la plage et du centre ville. Une très bonne adresse !

La maison est très agréable, la courette adorable et le tout très bien située très proche de la plage ( à noter cependant que la baignade y est interdite).La communication avec Jérôme et Nathalie est très fluide et l'on sent que tout est fait pour que l'on se sente bien dans cette jolie maison de famille...Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à 5 adultes et nous recommandons chaudement la maison 6 adultes par contre aurait été un peu plus compliqué la dernière chambre n'est pas vraiment dimensionnée pour 2 litsMerci pour le séjour

Maison ancienne,petite (convient mieux pour 4 adultes que pour 6 ,surtout pour un long séjour),décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Très bien équipée, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour un agréable séjour. Il y a bcp de livres, de DVD, d'informations sur la région, de quoi occuper les soirées ou les journées pluvieuses. Nous avons eu la chance de profiter du soleil et de la chaleur dans la petite cours bien cosy et qui sent bon le chèvrefeuille.La maison se trouve tout près de la baie et du centre ville. Elle est plaçée idéalement pour des promenades, sans devoir prendre la voiture. Via notre hôte, nous avons eu des tickets de stationnement à prix avantageux, ce qui n'est pas négligeable au Crotoy.Il y a également 3 vélos mis à disposition,sympa !L'hôte est très disponible pour répondre aux questions et s'informe du séjour.Nous retenons cette bonne adresse pour un futur séjour au Crotoy.

C'est une charmante petite maison très bien située, à l'ambiance chaleureuse.La déco est sympa, il y a des livres à foison, le poêle à bois est efficace, les ingrédients de base sont à disposition et il y a de la vaisselle . Oui, les chambres sont petites et les escaliers un peu raides mais la cuisine-salle à manger est tres conviviale, et 2 salles de bains c'est bien pratique à 6 personnes. Nous avons tout de suite trouvé nos repères. L'hôte, Jerome, et la personne qui nous a accueillis, Nathalie, ont été disponibles et à notre écoute.On ressent qu'ils font confiance aux gens et de nos jours c'est très appréciable.Ce fut un très agréable séjours de 5 jours.

Notre séjour fut une réussite. Accueil chaleureux, la maison située dans une rue calme est très agréable à vivre. A proximité du centre avec des commerces variés et de la plage où il est agréable de se promener. Une adresse que nous gardons bien précieusement pour y retourner dès que possible ;-)
