Condo was newly renovated with coastal decor. It was very clean. Condo was directly on the beach, which was wonderful! Check in process was easy. Only thing I would change, is to have a separate washer and dryer. Can’t wash/ dry separate loads and the combo unit takes hours to dry.

Great property! Newly updated! 2 complaints: Owners do not cover cost of 2 beach chairs/ umbrella rental. First time I’ve ever encountered that with any Commodore’s Retreat property. No ice maker in freezer. Ice cube trays were a disaster!

The best part of this stay was ease of access to the beach. I loved that we could be from the condo to the beach in just a few minutes. Communication with the property management was the best I’ve ever experienced. They were proactive in checking in on us during our stay, to be sure everything was as it should be. I only have a few comments of constructive criticism I’d offer. I would clean the slats of the door leading to the A\C unit. They were very dusty. One of the wine glasses in the kitchen also had lip marks on it. In general, I would touch up the walls, and replace the shower curtain and rod.

Location was awesome and the ease of access to the public part of the beach was great! The condo was beautiful inside and was very nice. Beautiful view of the ocean and beach from the patio. Beds were comfy. Great WiFi service, check in was easy. A few things I wish I would have known before booking: 1. Benchmark Mgmt makes you sign an entirely different set of rules and regs and charges additional fees. 2. Even tho they use email to communicate with you, they don’t answer via email, only thru the booking platform messages. 3. A day before we arrived they finally told us golf carts are not allowed on this property but I had already paid money and reserved one and this information was NOT included in any of the extra paperwork, disclaimers or in the property listing. So be aware of this. We rented a cart anyways and parked it in public parking, but it was a bit of a stress. I kept worrying they would fine me or tow the cart. Ultimately it was fine and no one said anything and we saw two other families with carts also. 4. There are beach items at the condo. There were already two chairs and boogie board and beach toys in a wagon. We added an umbrella and another chair. The mgmt company will tell you that it’s not included in the property and that you must rent these items from 30A shade. Save yourself the 50/day! 5. One roll flimsy TP for 3 ppl for a week. Be advised. No spices, no extras. Just FYI.

Cozy and clean

The condo was great! Appreciated the extra storage! It is cozy but plenty of room for two adults and a kid or two. Love this location!! The sand and water doesn’t get any prettier than this!

This condo was just as advertised. Beautiful view and quick, easy access to the white sand beach. King bed was super comfortable! Internet was not great (off several hours), but everything else was great!
