Miracles on Polly - Fairy Tale Cabin - A return to your childhood

The 12'x12' Fairy Tale Cabin reflects on the fanciful figures we dreamed of when we were children. Rustic in nature with a comfy kitch feel, nestled within a pastoral grove. Inside consists of reclaimed boards, beams & driftwood. There is a full double bed, private bathroom with a small standup shower. The kitchen has a confection burner/microwave, toaster oven & mini fridge. Burrowed at the top of Polly Hill, and neighboring The Miracles on Polly Rental Cottage , both share the 4 acre property

We will be adding a 4-6 person outdoor cedar barrel sauna this spring. This will be shared with all the guests on the property. That would be any guest staying in 1 of our 3 cabins.

Imagination shooting up like mushrooms...Ideal for single travellers, bikers, hikers, romancers and Lancers. Or perhaps a parent child getaway or a simple retreat to the magical forests of Belfast. A down to earth getaway with all the amenities you need to be comfortable. The gardens and outdoor area is constantly evolving as we move in to our fourth season. This is a 12' x 12' cabin (240 Square feet) It has all your amenities to be comfortable however we recommend this cabin to travellers who are comfortable in a small space:) There is no television in this cabin. We provide WIFI and recommend bringing laptops and devices for streaming entertainment.

Miracles on Polly have two rental properties on the 4 acre property. Our second is the Private River Retreat Cottage https://airbnb.com/h/miraclesonpolly. We ask that all guests respect each others space and privacy:)

We can be as available or as unavailable as desired. I also have a visitors/diners/entertainment guide on site! I worked in hospitality all my life. I care about people and want the best for them genuinely. If there is anything we can do to help your stay and over all vacation in any capacity please let me know. Also we feel it is important to mention that our family has a little camp deeper in the woods on the four acre property, further up from the river closer to the road. We spend some time there once and awhile in the summer:)

In the Winter Months all guests must park at the top of the Laneway and take the walking path to the cabin. It is a short but a reasonably steep walk.

There is no television in this cabin. We provide WIFI and recommend bringing laptops and devices for streaming entertainment.

Alex, the property owner, was delightful. He was welcoming, offered to assist us with our luggage, and asked us to contact him at any time during our stay if we needed anything or had questions. The artistry and decorating in the cabin was amazing. The cabin was spotless and equipped with all the essentials. The forest setting is beautiful, private, such a great place to relax and enjoy a peaceful retreat. We highly recommend staying at Miracles on Polly, it’s lovely! Quaint and tiny

This is a small space, but includes all the necessities to make a pleasant stay. In good weather the outside deck becomes a lovely living room, and there is a sweet little sauna just steps away. There are a few local options for eating out, and a grocery store at the gas station nearby. Nice little getaway.

Finding Neverland

This small but very accommodating cottage looked like a lot of small cottages , until…..we opened the door. The cottage was beautifully appointed and chocked full of visual wonders. Lots and lots of wonderful plants and a collection of artwork and figurines, so much so that I’m sure I didn’t see every one. Everywhere you looked you saw something you had previously missed. Everything required to have small intimate meals was available for use. The grounds and the path to a small river were lovely. 120 sq. ft. of pure joy.

What a great little cabin

We stayed 2 nights and the cabin was super cute and exactly as described. We lucked out with no one at the nearby rental property so we had the area to ourselves. (The other rental location is just behind the fairy cabin but does have trees to separate the two from view) It has just about everything you could need and the host checked in with us (via messages) on day 2 to see if there was anything we needed. The decor inside was really neat. Every time you were in the cabin there was something new you hadn't noticed before. However pls note you will have a lengthly drive for any exploring of the island you want to do. We found at least a 45 min drive or longer to get anywhere you wanted to go. Super quiet and quaint little cabin I would recommend!

I surprised my husband with a nice get winter getaway here. And it was amazing! We had so much fun looking at all the little hidden gems all around the cabin. We had brought some food to BBQ, but we couldnt figure out how to turn it on. Luckily the toaster oven saved the day! :) We noticed the construction in progress for some really nice trails on the property. So we will definitely be returning to check them out! We loved it! A great time to read up on our fairy knowledge. Thank you!

This cabin was ADORABLE and every time we looked somewhere in the space, some new little knick knack would catch our eye and make us smile and comment. The space was so well utilized and cozy!! We found everything we needed for cooking, the free wifi was great and the water was nice and hot. We sat out and watched the stars, found a beautiful place to hike and enjoyed some local brews. Overall an excellent experience we won’t soon forget!!!😻

The most quaint beautiful cabin

From setting foot on this property we were so impressed by the setup, first the cabin is tiny BUT we loved it so much, perfect for a couple of lovebirds! Every space is used every efficiently and effectively. Also such fun memorabilia! You really have to take it all in, look at every detail because trust me whoever designed this cabin was genius!
