Clean well located apartment

The apartment was clean and had all the facilities which you require for a self catering holiday. The apartment is well located to the bus route and local bars, restaurants and the beach.

Place where we stay was OK!! Only thing let us down was INTERNET. According to owner (weather etc,,,,,,,),we had this problem(l don’t agree). Problem is the owner has other property in few houses down, One router sharing for two houses !!! Any way check the package what you getting,before you book!! May be INTERNET is not included PACAGE !!!

Sunny, Convenient and Great Value - ALMOST PERFECT

What can I say, I have stayed here several times and each time I find something else I like about it. It might be a new bar or beach or new restaurant or new people that I've met but quite frankly I cannot get enough of this place. There are shops, bars and restaurants all within a stones throw and I found a new Churreria where they serve the very tasty if not very unhealthy CHURROS , the fattest CHURROS I have ever seen and a serving for 2 people was only 3 euros. I watched my sport in the evening at Colin's friendly Millionaire bar , I got take away pizza twice from Sicily the Italian take away in the same street as the complex and I didn't get to sample it but a guy I know has just opened up a Fish n Chip shop. I had more tapas lunches than you can shake a stick at and the Chinese on Las Bouganvillas ( Main road side ) is to die for. Like I said at the top of this email we enjoyed good weather, good food, paid about a third for drinks of what we pay in the uk, ate some amazing food and came home with a healthy glow . I really cannot wait to go back and in fact I liked it so much I am considering buying a place out there. Nothing more to say except I had a wonderful trip. The only blemish I can think of is it was a little too windy for me to bRave the swimming pool other than that it was quite simply perfect.

A nice, clean ‘home-from-home’

The villa was exactly as described; just like a ‘home-from-home’. We also asked for a welcoming parcel (essential stuff to save us from shopping), which helps when you arrive late. Nice and clean with everything you need. Although there are enough shops, bars and restaurants in the area, we hired a small car and went to some lovely markets and towns. Will definitely be back.

Good time by all

Big thank you to James and Sharron for letting us stay at their lovely apartment, the apartment was very well equipped and had every thing you require for a relaxing holiday!! the roof terrace was fab and we used it every day, the large swimming pool is just outside the apartment, we cant say any thing negative about our time spent there and wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to others, Steve Matthews

Amazing Value and close to everything.

The description of this lovely Casa and place is very accurate. A beautiful holiday home that is within walking distance of beach and cafes. An excellent bus service. The villa was clean, modern with everything you need. If you like a quiet, relaxed holiday, I highly recommend October, it was lovely and quiet, the beach was empty. The urbanization is gated so you feel very safe and it was lovely and quiet. I will be booking again.

Excellent property with superb facilities

Excellent location and everything you need within the property. The outside space was just right. The owner seemed to have provided everything we needed, both inside and outside the property, for example chairs, cold box, parasol and even beach towels.

Very well equipped apartment in a Spanish resort.

Lovely apartment with roof to sit out on in the evening. It has a good coffee machine, working tv with usb inputs and even a pizza cutter. Good sized rooms and nearby swimming pools and shops. The bus from the airport stops just around the corner. We have stayed in a few places and this place is one of the best.

Relaxing break to Casa Blanca

The listing description was spot on. It was easy to find, the layout was comfortable, clean and well maintained, very much a space that lent itself to a relaxing and enjoyable time. And, should you need them it has swimming pools, bars, restaurants and shops all close to hand. Plus, the owners are pretty good at communications if you have any queries / concerns and sorting. In summary a great place to chill and I look forward to visiting again soon. It is definitely a place I would recommend to family and friends. A bit more detail: All facilities; swimming pools, the beach, restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance (the furthest being no more than a 10 minute walk away, maybe 15 minutes if you're meandering). The larger swimming pool is great for an energetic swim and the smaller pools (2 minutes walk away) has walk in steps making it easy for those less steady on their feet or needing assistance. Wifi facilities were available at local bars and restaurants. but is now installed at the villa, an excellent additional facility. Should you get bored with the community near Casa Blanca there is the nearby town of Garrucha (20-25 minute promenade walk or 5 minute drive). This town offers a greater selection of shops, restaurants and supermarkets and at least one market day (Friday). Or, a 10 minute drive away is Vera with similar additional facilities and an excellent restaurant for a special evening ‘Juan Morreno’ providing a good selection of traditional Spanish flavours with a modern twist. It was pricier, at around 20-30€ per head (two courses and wine) compared to around 15€ (or less) when eating out near Casa Blanca (I can recommend the Laguna restaurant looking out over the beach) or those in Garrucha. The only slight negative is that I would classify it as a four person villa with some extra space / facilities for two. This is because the last two people have to use the lounge for sleeping. But hey, if the’re family or friends it’s no big deal. Anyhow, all I can say to complete this review is, don’t take my word for it, book yourself in and make your own mind up on whether or not it is a fab place to visit.

G8 fir short relaxing break everything on doorstep

had a wonderful week in an area of. Spain. I hadn't been to before and absolutely loved it. Have family in Gibraltar and Valencia and as such had never been to costa Almeria before! Wher we stayed was very spanish and had markets on nearly every day ( you need a car or have to take a bus to some of these ) and if like me you love a good market you won't be disappointed. The house itself was perfect for us and my partner made good use of the pool every morning. The only minor fault really is it could do with a bigger TV although because we didn't use the TV much it forced us to go out and as a result we found a sports bar on the beach front ( again i can't remember the name sorry ) but he got to see his beloved Newcastle United and I enjoyed some more wine and beach fun. And what a beach, beautiful flat sandy beach, surprisingly unpopulated Although it was February I expect it will be a lot more crowded in the summer months. The food everywhere we ate was really really good and I don't know if is because of the time of year we went but it seemed to me to be a lot cheaper than costa del sol, I will just have to go back in the summer and check it out ( ANY EXCUSE ) , Some bars still hold onto the traditional Spanish custom of FREE TAPAS IF YOU ARE ORDERING DRINKS. One afternoon we took a drive to Almerimar to meet some friends who have a place there and we sat for several hours in a lovely corner bar overlooking the. Marina ( can't remember the name sorry ) I think it had a blue and white awning, anyway a handful of beers each and a few bottles of wine , we must have had 3 or 4 drinks each minimum ( who's counting ) a multitude of different tapas chosen from the menu and WAIT FOR IT , the bill didn't even come to 10 euros a head. Mitch who met us was very welcoming and helped us source a key for the pool after our one was playing up a bit on one of the days. We Look forward to returning here next summer.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay here earlier this year , great weather and a really relaxing time. The Rooftop solarium was my favourite and I spent many an hour thereon topping up the tan and catching up on some reading. Sadly our roof terrace didn’t have a BBQ and we had to endure the wonderful smell from someone else’s roof top so It would have been perfect if there was a BBQ but for now I can only give it a 9.5. out of 10. LOL. The kitchen came well equipped and had everything we needed and being just 5 minutes walk from the beach was superb as it meant we could both have a drink – AND WE DID. The pool was another great feature if you didn’t fancy the beach, it was very clean, very large and probably because of the time of year we went it was never too overcrowded. I was a bit worried by the absence of air con but the ceiling fans did a very good job at keeping us cool. We are hoping to go spring time again next year as it’s a bit too hot for us mid summer but I would highly recommend this as it has everything you need and more for a relaxing, chilled out week in the sun. Urbanización tranquila, necesidad de mejoras

La comunicación previa a la llegada no fue fácil,La urba está muy bien y la piscina genial, el duplex tb está bien salvo que no hay aire acondicionado en el salón y hace calor por las tardes, el colchón principal está fatal, la cocina está bien auqnue deberían cambiar sartenes y algunos utensilios de cocina, tiene sombrillas y sillas de playas además de nevera, que se agradece mucho, tuve dos conflictos un par de roturas y el anfitrión se porto muy bien, así que luces y sombras, con un coco Chon nuevo, aire en el salón y un pelin más de limpieza en zonas no habituales sería un diez, aun así tuvimos una estancia agradable

Casa muy acogedora y bien equipada en general

Muy bien equipada, limpieza buena, aunque en cocina pudiera estar mejor pero es entendible, en general bastante bien... Con aire acondicionado y ventiladores, de no ser por eso nos morimos de calor. Repetimos en este apartamento de nuevo. A pesar de no resultar la cama muy cómoda, nos gusta mucho la ubicación. Este año tenía toppers de colchón que hacía las camas más confortables, aunque solo para las camas de 90 cm. Sería perfecto si pone lo mismo para la cama grande.

Bien en general

La casa en general está bien ubicada: a10 minutos andando de la playa y paseo marítimo. Como aspectos a mejorar los colchones están viejos, la cisterna goteaba y el bidé tenía el grifo roto. La terraza muy bien pero con poca intimidad, ya que esta separada de la del vecino por un muro de algo más de un metro. El aparcamiento bien.

buenas vacaciones

elegimos el alojamiento pues ya estuvimos el año pasado en la misma urbanización, y nos gusta la ubicación, cerca de la playa y a un paseo al pueblo de Garrucha. El alojamiento está bien, tiene aire acondicionado en las habitaciones y esto se agradece mucho ya que hacía mucho calor para dormir en las fechas que fuimos y el ventilador se quedaba escaso. Tuvimos poca luz en el salón ya que la lámpara del ventilador no funcionaba, se lo avisamos a Mitch pero al ver que no tenía solución rápida nos apañamos con la lámpara pequeña. Para nosotros también fue algo incómoda la cama, sería estupendo si mejoran el colchón. Por nuestra parte intentaremos repetir otro año en este apartamento, hemos pasado unas buenas vacaciones

I've traveled to Spain virtually every single year of my entire life and I absolutely adore the country. My parents used to take me along with my brothers and sisters and then I started taking my family and now my kids are older (no grand children yet) I am sure the habits will continue.

I am studying Spanish and will probably retire here in few years time, once the Spanish improves.

I am not ready to retire just yet as the UK is my main place of work but now that I have a home here I will visit as regularly as I can if for no other reason than the food iand the weather are amazing.

It seems a shame for such a lovely house to be empty when we are not there so it made perfect sense to utilise it as a holiday home for others to enjoy.

Why they chose this property

We looked at lots of properties over a period of about 3 years and initially I didn't want to view this house as I was adamant I needed to have 2 bathrooms, the real estate agent insisted and I am so glad he did.

With the exception of only having the one bathroom this property ticked every single other box.

So I have to be honest it was a bit of a gut feeling as soon as we walked in. The place just grabbed us as its kind of quaint but spacious at the same time.

So like i said previously this property was bought on a gut feeling as soon as we walked in. The place just grabbed us as its kind of quaint but spacious at the same time and has so much to offer.
