We had a lovely 4 day stay at this property and was a great place to explore the Bodmin area and north coast. The cream scones on arrival were very welcome after a long journey!

Rena and her group were perfect guests and would be welcome back any time!
Lovely cottage set in a huge garden! Location was perfect for everything we wanted to do and it was so peaceful and quiet. Homemade cream tea, fresh bread and jams and tea on arrival were a lovely touch and much appreciated after the four hour journey. Thank you

We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay here! It was a joy to have you here, it would be a pleasure to have you and your lovely family back again!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is adorable, with small touches that make a difference. It did rain a lot while we were there - but we expected that on the moors! Overall, we loved it.

It was really great to meet you all. Thank you, for leaving everything so pristine!
Such a pity that 5 weeks of solid sunshine should end before you came, but we are so glad that the rain did not spoil your enjoyment of Cornwall. Do come again! You will be most welcome here! ( and perhaps we can show you Cornish sunshine)
As our holiday abroard was cancelled we booked last minute into this accomadation - we were not disappointed. Great cottage with a lovely garden in secluded setting. If you love getting away from it all and having picuresque walks, this is the place for you. Geat local pubs (within 4 miles), disused railway walk alongside the river (camel trail) and beautiful Bodmin Moore, fully recommend it.

Caroline, Thank you for coming! We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay.
We would love to welcome you back any time!
Great location for touring this part of Cornwall. Very narrow lanes everywhere so take your time driving and enjoy the experience. House very comfortable. A treat to be able to sit in the peaceful garden and enjoy the views and the birds. Hosts excellent, from welcome Cornish tea to travel snacks on departure. Thanks a lot.
We had a fantastic family stay in this lovely cottage. Gerard & Linda were excellent hosts, providing welcome scones on arrival, easter eggs for the children, and we were given chocolate brownies for the journey home. The cottage is very comfortable and cosy. The garden is amazing. We enjoyed walks from the cottage, including through the fields with the dog, to the village pub. Padstow & Rock were circa 40 mins drive & great day out. Good Wifi for 'working from home'. We would love to go back again!

We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay! It was great to meet you and we’d love to see you here again!
Perfect for us as a family of five adults and one seven month old baby. The property was well equipped with everything we needed. Gerard and Linda are the best hosts we have ever had, lovely people and all the treats, fresh flowers in every room, home made scones and bread and a leaving present of home made brownies! Plus, a hand made birthday card for me. The garden was great fun with all the outdoor equipment in the utility room. A great cottage and very friendly hosts. I would highly recommend.

Absolut Top.

It was a pleasure to meet you all.
Thank you for leaving everything clean and tidy.
We hope we will see you again!

Thank you for your review. It was nice to meet you.
The living room in the cottage can indeed accommodate 6 people and we do have many families and groups of 6 staying who find it very comfortable. In the living area there is a 2 seater sofa, a 3 seater sofa and a tub armchair. In the dining area is a table which takes 6 dining chairs (2 are in the hall when not required).
The total cost was closer to €230 per night, which we think is very reasonable.
We had a lovely few days, with a warm welcome from Gerard and Linda and some delicious scones and jams. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay was provided and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thankyou so much! Amanda, Chris and family.

Lovely ground floor cottage with a beautiful garden in the pretty village of Blisland. A very quiet and peaceful area and just a few minutes walk onto the moor.
The cottage had everything we needed for our stay over Easter. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely welcome with fresh scones and homemade jams awaiting us. The house was very clean and well equipped.
The owners were very welcoming but otherwise we didn’t see them again until we were ready to leave when they kindly presented us with some more lovely home baking. Overall it was a lovely place to stay.
Beautiful property in lovely location. Well cleaned and prepared for us. Very private. Everything you could need for a weeks stay. Superb welcome with home made scones and Jams.
Thank you so much.

It was a pleasure to have you here, Dee-Anne! We hope you got everything sorted after your trip back and we wish you both every happiness in Australia!
Fabulous cottage which is set in a peaceful position.
Someone has worked so hard to create this beautiful cottage. It has been a labour of love. Gerald and Linda have thought of everything a family would need. It was great to spend time with my grandchildren in such a wonderful environment.
The walks from the cottage are fantastic and we discovered beaches we had not visited before.

Thank you, for leaving the cottage clean and tidy!
The house is beautiful with an ample garden with a kids playground. Everything was spotless. The location is very peaceful but still less than an hour away to the more touristic spots. We enjoyed our stay very much and will likely be going again.
