Thanksgiving in Sandestin

The property management company does a wonderful job and the property was lovely and comfortable. Would rent this place again. We have previously owned 4 properties in Sandestin over the years and I am very particular with any rental. This one met and exceeded my expectations.

Wonderful location

The condo was extremely clean and location was great! The only issue we had was site listed 2 golf carts ( my hospitality app listed one as a 6 seater) but we only had 1 cart during the stay due to mechanical issues. The location is perfect and having the golf cart made it so convenient that we barely used our car during the stay. Also love that there are beach items available for you to use!

Great Fall Trip

We will be back. Perfect location and the golf cart was able to access several locations outside the area such as the grocery store. The only item is that because it is on an upper floor with steep steps, people with bad knees might have an issue.

Rental was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable and great location. Having 2 golf carts is great. It would be safer if both had headlights. Management company was readily available and provided solid information even gave tips on things to do.

Perfect for us

This property is spacious and in a great location. We had a view of the lake and we had a great time feeding the turtles. Having two golf carts was so great and made trips to the beach, Baytowne warf and Publix so easy. The air unit had a hiccup our first night but the property management team quickly got it fixed.

Awesome stay

The condo was in a great quiet location. Can walk to Baytown. Love the golf carts to get around. The condo itself was very cozy. No complaints. Just have 1 complaint to the Sandestin resort itself. Nothing to do with the rental or property management. The resort decided to post a sign at the beach about “No personal beach chairs” in front of the rental chairs. That’s very unfair especially we are beach people and get to the beach early to get a spot up front to the waterfront. While sitting back behind the all the rental chairs, renters and owners were definitely complaining about what the resort did. This may deter us from visiting Sandestin in the future unless the resort removes this stupid sign/rule.

Perfect spot

Lots of pluses….Access super easy, resort property and condo very well maintained, clean and comfortable, spacious, comfy furniture, wonderful screened in balcony, and great location. We were there in the summer—never felt crowded, on property and can see the Baytown Ward weekly fireworks from front door balcony. Access to Baytown Warf, shopping and dining is a short golf cart ride away. Beach is not too far either. Resort beach was pretty crowded, but some fun ocean inflatables—great beachside Pool as well. Loved the stay. Our only hiccups were two 4 seater golf carts instead of 6 and 4 and the regular coffee maker required a special re-useable filter that was missing. There is a k-cup pot maker also.

You're so right that it is crowded more during the summer, but we're thrilled to know it didn't feel that way overall to you and that you found lots of great space that you were able to spread out and have fun. We love, too, that the property was accessible and that the condo felt spacious and inviting to you. We are glad you enjoyed using the golf cart and wanted to note that there may have been some confusion as we double-checked the listing, and it shows that there are two four-seater golf carts. We're glad you were able to make use of those, though, and we're glad you had a lovely time overall. We hope we see you for another fun beach getaway soon

Reviewer Comments: Great house and both golf carts worked well--the only issue we experienced was there were No Lights in Both Bathrooms our first 24 hours...that was not good. We would have expected the rental company to compensate us in some small way, but they did not. We consider that poor customer service. Otherwise, the stay was very good.

Great Stay. Great Condo, Great Location. Needs some small updates.

We had a great stay at this property. It was our first time back in Sandestin in quite awhile. The location of this condo can't be beat. Super close to the Baytowne Village, pool on site and the golf carts are a priceless addition. I don't think I would go to Sandestin without a golf cart. It makes it so easy to get around. It was super clean and had plenty of space for us all. Beds were comfortable. Loved spending time on the screen porch. Kitchen has everything you need. Huge laundry room to throw all your junk in! Garage was great for storing beach items when not using - as opposed to having to lug them in and out of condo. All in all wonderful stay. Property mgmt company was easy to get in touch with. A few misses: The area can be confusing if you haven't been before and the property management company could do a better job of providing maps and explaining exactly what amenities of the resort you have access to (and which ones you don't!). I stopped in at the registration area to grab a paper map and the actual resort people were a little snooty and said we weren't really supposed to use the pools b/c we were staying with a VRBO and not Sandestin properties. So that was confusing. Wifi Login shared was incorrect. Threshold btw master bedroom and bathroom was completely off Toilet paper holder in master bath broken. towel rack in secondary bath was broken off the wall and laying on shelf dirty towel hanging in bathroom when we arrived window in master bath leaked bad

We have passed the information to a member of our team so the small things you mentioned can be addressed. As for the amenities included with your rental, VRBO guests have the same access to community pools as do guests who book with another property management company. There are different wristband restrictions depending on the community in which you stay, but those things are also provided upon checkin so you can enjoy using the pools that are included with many of our rentals. We do hope that helps with the confusion and sincerely apologize if the resort staff were not professional. Wonderful Thanksgiving at the Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Super clean and loved the location of this rental. So close to the village and the marina. The golf carts were a HUGE benefit and I don't think I would rent a place without a cart. Having two carts to use was a luxury! Amanda at My Vacation Haven was excellent!

Nice stay!

The property itself is very nice. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large. There is plenty of comfortable seating for everyone and the kitchen is well stocked. The master bathroom did not have any toiletries - no soap or shampoo (as expected in a rental). The second bathroom had toiletries. We contacted the rental agency twice for help with the HVAC (it was cold), and never received a response. We were excited the condo included a grill. After buying steaks, we realized there was no propane (perhaps we should have provided?). Overall, the stay was very nice and we recommend this property. I think the rental agency could pay a little more attention to some of the details.

A beautiful place and a great location.

The condo was perfect for a family get away. The location is convenient to all amenities at the resort. The golf carts were also a plus. We would definitely stay there again.

Stay in Sandestin

Don’t usually write reviews but had to give this place the credit it deserves. This rental is fantastic. The garage with the golf carts and beach supplies were so nice. The kids fished in the ponds and enjoyed this resort tremendously. We will be back.

Well stocked kitchen and clean

Best stocked kitchen of all places we have stayed. Non-stick pots and pans were of excellent condition. Couldn’t think of a utensil it didn’t have.
