Enjoyed our stay very much. The location was wonderful for us-easy access to everywhere and a nice neighborhood. The house had everything we needed.(The only glitch was that we didn’t know to enter through back door.)

Do.Not.Rent.Here. We had a horrible experience at this property. Upon entering the home, we were greeted with 80 degree temps inside and the unmistakable smell of cat urine and feces. The basement odor was so strong we couldn’t even go halfway down the stairs without our children sneezing like crazy. We called right away to ask if we could find alternative arrangements or receive a refund to book at a nearby hotel, and being that it was a Friday, were told we would receive a call the following Monday to discuss options. On Monday, we reached out asking if we could leave one day early, and we received significant pushback and refusal. While they offered to send “maintenance” Friday to “look” around, it would have made zero different on the urine and feces smell. We also found dirty socks left on countertops, windows with broken locks, and half the towels still in the dryer. The inability of Minnestay to provide an early departure from our rental or any sort of compensation was shocking. We would not recommend this property or renting from this company at all.

We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay. However, we want to clarify that this review does not accurately reflect how our team responded. We explored moving you to another property, but unfortunately did not have another home available that could accommodate your group. We offered to send maintenance to address your concerns, but that offer was declined. We also advised that a manager would follow up Monday during business hours regarding compensation. You informed us that you would be leaving and staying at a hotel. However, our records indicate that you ultimately remained in the home. Our management team was prepared to discuss the appropriate resolution, but since you chose to remain in the home, a refund for the unused portion of the stay was not applicable. We understand the concerns reported were frustrating. We regret that we were unable to meet your expectations, but want future guests to have an accurate understanding of how the situation was handled.

A typical South Minneapolis house, clean and updated. Lots of room and a well-stocked modern kitchen. Edina stores, etc. within walking distance.

Don’t Hesitate

This property had everything we needed - don’t hesitate as it won’t disappoint. Plenty of space for our entire family and was clean. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and park. Nice backyard to hangout in, too.

Family get away!

Nice quiet neighborhood but within 15 minute driving time of everything we wanted to do! Home had lots of character and well supplied and equiped! Loved the yard too! Granddaughters found lots to keep them occupied! So happy we chose this rental!

Charming neighborhood; great location

We have family that lives in this neighborhood so we were happy to find a house within walking distance of their home. Also love being able to walk to the shops and restaurants on 50th and France. This house has a nice sized kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a pretty backyard with comfortable seating. We will definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to others.

Cute house in great location

This is a cute house tucked away on a quiet street very, very close to 50th and France and also not far from Lake Harriet. There is a small fenced backyard with a deck and lovely flower garden. Three good sized bedrooms, nice updated kitchen. Lots of comfortable seating in living room and basement Rec area.

This is an amazing home - extremely clean, very welcoming, and everything you would ever need is available. It is also very spacious. The spacious backyard is also a big plus even though I didn't have time to use it. The property management staff was absolutely outstanding. They responded immediately to my request for an early check in and due to a family emergency I needed another night's stay at the home, and they promptly took care of that also. I highly recommend.

Convenient and comfy + Bunnies!

Beautiful house with a large modern kitchen that has everything you could need. Two outside seating areas, one is covered which we enjoyed in the rain. Fun to watch the bunnies, birds, squirrels, and chipmunks running around the sweet backyard. 3 King beds!! (No arguing about who gets the small bed). Definitely recommend!

Works great for a large family

The property was great for our family of 4 adults and 4 children. Three king size beds, two trundle beds in the basement, large sleepable sofa also in basement. Lots of activities available, TVs everywhere, two backyard lounging areas. Whoever set this place had a lot of fun. The location was great, a park/ recreational area 1 block away, and great restaurants, grocery store, bakery, and shopping within blocks. Property management was very responsive. We intend to return.

Great location

We only had problem getting in the first day. It did not say to go to the backdoor. That would have been good to know. The baby bunnies came out of the whole they were born in while we were there. So cool. We cooked outside and enjoyed the weather.

Mpls stay

House was very nice, charming and clean. However the furnace or heating system was not working. We were moved to another house (which was a lovely home, clean and very comfortable), but it was across the street from an elementary school. The location/ neighborhood was not nearly as good as the home we originally booked. But the property manager did get us moved quickly to this house that had a functioning heating system.

Great Location

Great visit to show my kids the beauty of Minnesota! Loved Red Cow and Edina grill for meals! Playground within walking distance. Small farmers market on Saturday. About 30min to Como Zoo, the Children’s Museum, and to the Twins stadium. Beds were all comfy. Kitchen with basic spices and decent amount of pots pans etc. Cozy living room and dining room. Small complaints - floors are pretty squeaky, especially to those listening from the basement! And the window a/c units aren’t really enough for the days when it reaches 90. The bedrooms stayed cool as long as the doors were shut! We weren’t miserable but did notice it stayed fairly warm in the common areas of the house. Overall, a great time with my family!

Perfect house for our Thanksgiving 2021!

Loved the location! The house was well equiped and the perfect size for our family being together while also allowing everyone privacy. We would certainly consider staying here again!

Great for Visiting Grand Kids

Location, location, location - was perfect for our needs (getting g-kids to and from school, soccer games etc. Lots of v good restaurants nearby, parks, bike trials and Lake Harriet.
