It was sunny and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Great location for visiting Jedediah Smith park and Harris beach. Great tide pools close by at Chetco as well.

We stayed at the captivating sunlight cottage during the 4th of July weekend and were very happy! It was a wonderful, quaint, cozy home in downtown Brookings. Several food options and local shopping was within close walking distance.

Enjoyed our stay!

Walking distance to shops, restaurants and our favorite Compass Coffee. 5-10 minutes from Chetco Point, Mills Beach, McVay Beach and visitor center. Fresh fish at Lola’s by the Harbor. Thank you for the great amenities!

But what truly made it shine was the unbeatable location. Just steps away from great restaurants and coffee shops, we found ourselves strolling to Compass Rose most mornings for our favorite brew. That little gem became our go-to spot and added so much joy to the trip. If you're looking for a place that blends comfort, convenience, and a touch of local magic, this is it. Highly recommend!

Comfortable and close to fun!

Worked out wonderfully, close to out event, great bars and restaurants, Fred Meyer and the hidden gem Chetco Point. We really enjoyed the porch too!

Probably deserves 3 stars, but communication was great. Place was just okay, but having AC also let me give this a 4 star. Suggest getting a mirror since the only one is the bathroom small mirror and women like to see their outfits in a mirror. Plenty of wall space for a mirror somewhere. Also, suggest getting the backyard better and accessible so relaxing outside is possible since the front is on a street. Parking was unclear, but I just parked near the house.

Clean, great location, helpful and responsive host. Would definitely stay there again. Brookings is a gem of a town, especially for artists and nature lovers.

Nice clean home. Check in and out process was super easy. Host kept in communication throughout process. Would absolutely stay again.
