The property is also served by a bus stop located right in front of the main gate. Frequent buses to Funchal city centre run from 6:20 to 23:40 (approximately 15 minutes). Taxis are also relatively inexpensive in Madeira, and a ride downtown costs less than 10€, taking about 10 minutes, depending on the time and traffic.

- Late check-ins after 21:00 are subject to a €30 fee (until 22:30), or a 45€ fee (until midnight), or a 60€ fee (after midnight).
- Smoking and bringing animals inside are strictly prohibited on the property.
- A staircase connects the three floors, with two small flights (6 steps each) between each floor, making the property unsuitable for guests with reduced mobility.

The building façade is currently undergoing renovation works to ensure the condominium remains in excellent condition. As part of this process, scaffolding has been installed around the exterior, and guests may notice some dust in the surrounding areas. While every effort is being made to minimise disruption, please be aware that daytime noise may occur during the restoration works. Guests who are particularly sensitive to construction environments, such as those with dust or intermittent noise, may experience inconvenience.

The venue is not suitable for guests with limited mobility due to a stairway with 14 steps (two flights of stairs, each with 7 steps) that leads from the elevator hall to the front door.

Superior location - well presented and maintained - pleasant and amenable owners - reasonably priced

This is the second year we have stayed with Miguel Filipe and his associates having visited Funchal several times previously. For us the apartment is well located, adjacent to the Forum Shopping Centre and with convenient bus stops too and fro central Funchal. Likewise good local eating establishments. Well furnished and equipped with good security to the premises - all-in-all it was good to know what we were coming to and let us rest easy. We hope to be back again next year!

Not as nice as expected and awful treatment by owner

Its ok but didnt live upto expectations. Had to pay for last night and move to hotel. I said 1400 is only acceptable check out time as uk flight etd 1825 but they took money and mid stay said get out at 1200. They could have offered extra night or not taken money 9 months before stay. Would never consider again and hotel was much nicer.

A high quality apartment in top location

This 2-bedrooms 2-baths apartment is of the highest quality. It is spacious, elegantly furnished, and well -equipped. The location, with sea-view, close proximity to large shopping centre (200 meters) and numerous restaurants within easy walking distance, is ideal. The descriptions on the website was accurate, the property is well-kept and top customer service was provided. Not only would I recommend the apartment to family and friend, we have already book the apartment for another 4 week for 2017. Highly recommended!

1st class apartment with amazing views

The apartment was a class above a lot of holiday rentals, it was definitely a home from home, it was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The pool and gardens were beautifully maintained and provided a lovely place to relax and look out to the sea, during our stay, early October, most of the time we were the only one’s by the pool. There are a number of restaurants close by, thanks to Miguel for the detailed information he sent us before our trip, we particularly liked Bombay Spice. Shopping for a few essentials was easy, there’s a large supermarket on the lower ground floor of the Forum Madeira which is within a few minute’s walk from the apartment. We walked to the Town of Funchal, which is about 2.5 miles, but there is excellent public transport for lazy days. We missed out on the Levada walks, I hurt my ankle on the first day, when we to go back to Madeira we would head straight back to this apartment.

Great location and outlook

Apartment was all we expected, spacious, clean and very well equipped. Victor was very helpful, showed us some of Funchal after picking us up from the airport & sorted a problem with the TV. Lovely walk part way into Funchal but you need bus or car to get to town centre. (Buses easy to use, buy ticket first time on bus then top up for future rides, it's cheaper that way) Suggestion for Miguel? Comfy chairs on balcony would be good! Madeira generally? You need a car to see the island, but lots to do in and around Funchal (unless you want clubbing) Chris's restaurant five minutes walk away, not cheap but worth every penny if you like fine dining, you need to book. Final point, Madeira is warm most of the year but it gets more than its share of cloud so if you want wall to wall sunshine it's probably not the place for you. Having said that, it didn't spoil our holiday. Thank you Miguel, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay Barry & Lynne

Top-Domizil in luftiger Höhe

Die Kommunikation rund um die Buchung war optimal. Die Wohnung entspricht voll und ganz der Beschreibung. Es ist alles da und funktioniert auch top. Die Wohnung ist bequem mittels Lift zu erreichen (2 vorhanden). Allerdings müssen dann noch Treppen benutzt werden, um die Wohnung zu erreichen, was Rollstuhlfahrern Probleme bereiten wird. Hochwertige Ausstattung. Einziges Manko ist die Tatsache, dass lediglich eine Kaffeemaschine vorhanden ist, welche mit den teuren Taps gefüttert werden muss. Eine "normale" Filter-Kaffeemaschine hätte mir besser gefallen. Es gibt Kabel-TV mit vielen englisch-sprachigen Sendern. Ein deutsches Programm sucht man vergebens, wer´s braucht.... Überaus freundlicher Empfang und auch Verabschiedung, wirklich super. Es handelt sich um einen großen Wohn-Komplex direkt am Meer in unmittelbarer Nähe des Forum Madeira (Einkaufs-Mall) in Funchal. Direkt vor dem Haus ist eine Bushaltestelle, ideal. Das Gelände sowie der Komplex sind nur mittels elektr. Chips zu betreten, für Fahrzeuge sind Parkplätze auf dem Gelände vorhanden.

"Superior home away from home"

We stayed 13 days at this property and loved every minute of it! Everything you see on the listing website is accurate and there is no misrepresentation in any sense. However what the website cannot convey is that you will feel at home once you open the door to this property. From the lovely original artwork, high end appliances and very comfortable beds, you will find all the comforts of home. My wife especially loved the dryer and as she can wash and dry without having the added chore of drying clothes on racks on rainy days which there were quite a few on this trip! After staying a few days in the apartment, we also realized how quiet and peaceful it was. As the property is located on the top floor, there are no neighbours and we really enjoyed the privacy. The property is very clean as other reviewers have mentioned and of course there is the ensuite bathroom which overlooks the ocean. What a pleasure to take a bath on a rainy day listening to the waves crashing against the shore, 6 or 7 floors below! Last and certainly the most important intangible about this property are the owners. Miguel and Victor are really courteous and helpful in making sure that our vacation is what is should be......stress free. From initial inquiries, booking, through to check-in and check-out, Miguel and Victor have been extremely professional and helpful. We had a small issue one night with tripping the electrical circuit (probably our fault for having too many appliances running during one of those rainy days!) and Victor turned up five minutes after our call and resolved the problem. Half-way through our stay, Miguel (who was away) emailed to follow up whether we were comfortable in the apartment. A small gesture but it goes a long way to show that the owners do take every care to ensure that their clients have a great vacation. Last of all, the property is located in a wonderful part of Funchal, close to wonderful restaurants, supermarkets, shopping centers and most important, the seaside promenade, a place to relax, swim or just to take strolls. A small piece of heaven.

Great spacious apartment with fabulous view

The apartment was very spacious with everything you would need, 2 lovely big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There was everything in the kitchen and separate utility rooms for washer and dryer. We felt very secure and at home, the apartment was very quite, peaceful and very private. The view was great and the outside space to apartment block very nice,well kept and very clean as was the apartment. We liked the location plenty of restaurants nearby but we also like to walk into Funchal where there are plenty of bars and restaurants and also on the way into funchal lots to choose from. The apartment was very handy for catching bus into funchal bus stop outside apartment gates. Over the road is the Forum shopping centre which had a very good pingo doce supermarket. We really enjoyed our stay and definately will stay there again.

Wonderful holiday

We have just come to the end of our stay in this beautiful apartment in the Forum area of Funchal. I am happy to say that we have not been disappointed. From the airport we caught the Aero bus which only costs €5 pp (or €8pp for a return ticket) and takes you directly into the main thoroughfare through Funchal to the Forum. If you advise the driver that you want to get off in the Forum area (bus stop number 19), you will be dropped off across the road from the complex. On arrival at the Quinta Felicia we contacted Victor by phone and met him by the electronic gate leading into the complex. We were escorted up to our penthouse apartment via a lift up to level 6; we then had 2 flights of stairs (16 steps in total) to reach our apartment, this was not a problem to us and we had been advised of this before we booked the apartment. On entering the apartment we were thrilled with the spectacular views overlooking the sea, the infinity pool and the lovely well kept gardens. After showing us around and pointing out the facilities Victor gave us two sets of keys and presented us with a welcome pack that contained local delicacies such as Poncha, honey cake and biscuits; this gesture was so welcoming. Victor also advised us that should we need any assistance we could contact him; this is very reassuring as unexpected problems can happen. The apartment includes everything that you need to make your stay very comfortable, including free high speed internet. This is a lovely apartment that is run by friendly people who do as much as possible to make your holiday special. We would like to thank Miguel, the owner of the apartment for his organisation and very quick responses to our emails, and also to Victor for his friendliness and guidance. Our thanks to you both for making this a really wonderful holiday.

Charming flat by the sea

The apartment is very well located, in a quiet area and in excellent condition. Contact with Miguel`s business partner Victor was easy, brief explanation about the apartment, the environment and the technical things, TV and much more. The flat was well equipped and, most important for us, had a very good Wi-Fi connection speed. Beautiful furniture and paintings on the walls, plenty of possibilities of lighting in the rooms. The kitchen is very nice and in a good condition. Extremely clean appliances, microwave, dishwasher and everything else. We stayed for 14 days and will definitely be back!

Perfect flat if you're looking for a relaxed break

Miguel's apartment is simply beautiful, near enough to restaurants and bars but far enough away for it to be blissfully quiet at all times. The apartment was clean, very comfortable and has a sizeable kitchen equipped with everything you might need. The pool was easily accessed by lift and was a nice respite from the winter sun! We were met by Miguel's business partner Victor who provided transfers at a good rate. He pointed out restaurants and areas of note. The apartment was perfect for our stay, I'm sure it will be for yours too.

Nice flat, excellent location

We were two couples in this flat. Both couples had own bedrooms and bathrooms, comfortable and spacious. Location is perfect for any tourist visiting Madeira. Apartment is well-maintained and we can warmly recommend it for new or old Madeira visitors.

We thoroughly enjoyed Funchal Madeira and loved the apartment. It was very spacious and well equipped with amazing views of the ocean. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Die Ferienwohnung entspricht voll und ganz der Beschreibung. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Die Übergabe klappte hervorragend. Wir kommen gerne wieder. WLAN in allen Zimmern sehr gut. Leider gab es nur sehr wenig Deutsche Fernsehprogramme. Braucht man im Urlaub aber nicht wirklich.

Прекрасный отдых в прекрасном месте

Чистый, уютный, комфортный, со вкусом обставленный номер,в котором продумано все до мелочей. Удобно распроложен: рядом прекрасный променад для прогулок, рестораны,остановка автобусов до исторического центра. Есть парковка, бассейн,который работает даже ночью, рядом есть пляж. Окно в ванной с видом на океан делало утренний душ особенно приятным. Спасибо Мигелю и Виктору за наш чудесный отдых.

A lovely modern apartment with excellent views

We enjoyed its location by the sea, nearby Funchal's beautiful sea promenade, which is great for walking or running. That's where all the best hotels and restaurants are, as far as we could tell, and it is not far from the city centre (less than 15 minutes by bus, around half an hour on foot). The apartment itself is airy, clean and beautifully decorated. Indeed, quite comfortable and really making us feel at home, in a good sense. Definitely 5 stars.

Quiet flat with a fantastic view

We were in the flat for two weeks in March 2015. The advertised equipment in the flat was available and in good condition. The flat itself is even more ample than expected. Although the next bus stop is only a few footsteps away the flat is very quiet and opens to the sea. Across the street is a big shopping centre where we got everything that was needed including some restaurants. In 15 minutes the bus is in the city centre. We also appreciated the cleaning service at the end of the first week. We would recommend the property.

Great flat with a spectacular view

The apartment was perfect! Amazing view of the ocean, very well kept, clean, spacious, quiet, tastefully and practically furnished with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen... Everything that we needed was there! The location was excellent and within walking distance to a great variety of restaurants, pubs and beautiful beaches. We liked the apartment so much that we did take away and brought it "home" to eat on our balcony overlooking the magnificent view. Local supermarket was two minutes walk away which we found very handy. We would highly recommend this place as the price was fantastic and 5 stars service is hard to find.

The flat is most beautifully and tastefully decorated and with a stunning sea view. It's bright, clean, cool, smart and comfortable. The location is perfect. Everything is close enough and it only takes minutes to walk to the supermarket, to the beach, to restaurants and pools. We also loved to walk on the seaside promenade towards the center. It's about a 35 minute walk (5 minute drive). The water is so calming and beautiful to look at... And there are lots of things to do besides swimming and sunbathing: jogging, shopping, eating (do not miss Doca do Cavacas on the rocks by the sea). We really enjoyed the owner too. He was great to us and his attention to every detail truly made this house our home... We hope to come back some day for sure!

Our perfect stay in Funchal. Highly recommended!

I could not say enough about our stay here. The views were really amazing, the location couldn't be better (hearing ocean waves is so calm and relaxing...) and the apartment was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. Well, actually it was the best-equipped flat that we have ever stayed in. Located in the best area of Funchal (MHO) the flat is an oasis of calm and space, with complete privacy and absolutely no neighbours around. Very well served by public transports (10 minutes bus ride to the Old Town) and quite close to a local supermarket (3 minutes walk) and to the beach (5 minutes walk). Miguel was also very friendly, helpful & hospitable.

Lovely Apartment with fabulous views

The apartment was quite spacious, bright and very clean with an oceanfront location and superb views. We had breakfast every morning on the sunny balcony overlooking the sea. It was perfect for 2 couples like us with two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, a generous sitting room (great decoration, congrats!) and a well appointed kitchen. The free Wi-Fi service was a must for us. Regarding the location, it was absolutely perfect, very quiet (no noisy traffic at all), next to the beautiful coastal promenade and to some of Funchal's best beaches but close enough to the city center. There was an excellent public transportation service heading to the Old Town passing in every 5 minutes just in front of the condo’s front gate. Great value for the money!
