Welcome to GT SUMMER HOUSE!

** CLEAN - CLEAN - CLEAN ** We put forth EXTREME efforts and take Great Pride in keeping this house immaculate for each and every rental week.
GT Summer House NEVER has a full-time resident, so your vacation will be spent in a UNCLUTTERED clean home.
All furniture, linens, towels, pots, pans and dishes are new .... Everything!

The house itself is newly built on 50 acres of private property. GT Summer House offers a SPORTS / RECREATION FIELD in front of the house that provides a Groomed Area and WE PROVIDE ALL EQUIPMENT for you to ....

* PLAY Badminton, Volleyball or Frisbee....
Net, Badminton Racquets, Frisbee, etc... all provided & set up)

* PLAY a game of Baseball....
(Bases, Bat & Ball provided)

* ENJOY sitting around the Camp Fire with friends & family......
(fire pit, seating provided),

* PLAY a game of 'Horseshoes'....
(Pits & Horseshoes also provided).

* PLAY a game of (Corn-hole) Bean Bag or Ring Toss
(Bags, Rings & Boards provided)

Great Outdoor Fun !!
There are streams and a creek that run through the property, you are more than welcome to take advantage of them. We NO longer provide fishing equipment.

My sister and brother-in-law are there to greet you when you arrive and easily available during your stay. They live on the adjoining property, walking distance from GT Summer House, but far enough to ensure privacy.

CENTRAL AIR (NOT WINDOW UNITS) and ceiling fans in every room ensures a constant and comfortable temperature throughout the entire house.

GT Summer House is equipped with a continuous hot water heater, making it possible for more than one person to shower at a time! Most families absolutely love this amenity!

We offer 3 beautifully spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher & ice maker, a large open floor plan, dining area and a laundry facility.
GT Summer House features over 9-foot ceilings, wood flooring, an ample sized open floor plan with knotty pine walls, making this new home extremely inviting and comfortable for 8 people.

GT Summer House is a convenient drive to Cooperstown, the Dreams Park, the All-Star fields and all the local attractions.

Interested in day trips while you visit? There are many breweries and wineries in the area. We are within 1 3/4 hours from Turning Stone (casino); Saratoga Horse Races; SPAC; Albany - visit our capitol - many theatres, museums, music venues, etc. While in Cooperstown find the time for the infamous brunch at The Otesaga Hotel, looking out over beautiful Otsego Lake enjoy your lunch/brunch and make plans to take the tour boat, go fishing, boating, sailing, swimming.
There is a boat rental along the lake (fishing boats, canoes,.etc.) and several spots to go swimming. Visit Council Rock, The Stone Bridge, Clark's Tower or take the Brewery Trail featuring local breweries including Brewery Ommegang (several concerts throughout season) and Council Rock Brewery (also known for its Friday night fish fry).
A must-do is the Farmers Museum, a living museum, fun for old and young alike, located in the middle of Cooperstown.

Excellent getaway spot!

Beautiful home on the outskirts of the Cooperstown area. Everything we were interested in seeing was easily accessible, including the HOF, bat factory, art museum, lake, apple cider mill and good food. House was spotless and comfortable, and the outdoor space was great for the kids. Hosts were helpful...this spot is for sure a 10!

Wonderful place to stay! SO CLEAN!! My family stayed Summer House while our oldest played at CDP. It was only a 7-8 minute to the park. It offered plenty of space for our other 3 boys to play and explore during any downtime! It came equipped with everything you need! Highly recommend! The hosts were fabulous!

Peaceful stay on a great property

I took my dad, brother, and son for a long weekend to visit Cooperstown and the Hall of Fame. The house is a short drive to Cooperstown and the property is beautiful. We loved the horseshoes, the cornhole, the view, and the stargazing. The house met all of our needs, and if there were any questions or requests, Mary (living nearby) was always available to assist us.

To start the owner is the absolute best. When we arrived everything was as advertised. The views from porch were amazing. Nice open layout inside. One perk was her sister who also lives on farm is super nice and has fresh eggs. We truly enjoyed the stay. Only took about 10 minutes maybe to get to park.

Great place for Dreams Park games

This house is in a perfect spot for Dreams Park stays. It is about a 10 min drive but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. There is plenty of open space for and kids to get outside and play. We sat on porch every morning and evening and watched dear eat in open field. The house is just as described in listing and it was very clean upon our check in. Ms Mary was very helpful starting at check in right through check out. If we ever get a chance to return we would definitely try and stay here.

Super clean and charming

We rented for Cooperstown dreams park. It’s 10 min from the park situated on 40 acres overlooking at huge pasture. Tons of space. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Super clean and we felt at home. Owner’s sister lives next door and has fresh eggs for sale. Great family. We didn’t want to leave.

Perfect for Cooperstown Baseball Families

We stayed at GT Summerhouse with another family for our sons' Cooperstown baseball week. We had four adults and six kids (ages 5 - 10) with us. This house was very clean and had a great floor plan to accommodate all of us very comfortably (even when our two players joined us on the last night). Our goal when looking for a house was to find a place that our six "non-players" could have a great time when we weren't at the park. Well, this house was everything we expected and more. There is a huge field for the kids to run and play, including volleyball net, sports equipment, etc. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the 'swimming hole,' which was a hop, skip, and jump from the house, and where they spent most of their time both fishing and swimming. The nature 'hike' to the creek was fun for all too. Theresa and Gary are very welcoming and accommodating. And the best part, the park really was only 10 minutes away from the house! We hope to return to GT Summerhouse in two years when our next set of players are twelve!

Beautiful View / Well Stocked Kitchen

I was traveling with my family for my oldest son's tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park. My other kids are 9 months, 2 and 4-years-old. The host and owner were very welcoming and kind throughout our stay. They let my kids go up to the farm and see the animals. The views from the house are beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped with cooking essentials and high quality pots, pans, etc. I would just recommend more cleaning supplies such as all-purpose spray to clean counter tops and table. Having the washer and dryer was great but we had to buy our own laundry detergent, it would be nice to have that available, especially with grocery stores being a bit of a drive. As well as having a few basic toiletry items such as shampoo, conditioner and body soap would be nice. We stayed in the New England area the second half of our trip and the other house had those essentials plus lotion, Q-tips, etc. Just make sure you bring your own because every rental is different. A few things to note, there's no cell service at the house but there is a landline and wifi. We missed not being able to text our son when we weren't at the park - just plan ahead and download a web-based app. Also, the wood floors are pretty loud and squeaky so a few us were woken up when someone was walking throughout the house. The creek shown in the pictures was not accessible. They may want to remove those photos from the listing. Other than those small details, it was a great stay. Our kids loved the fire pit, watching the deer and running around on the grass.

Magical farm getaway

Not only was this property a total gem, it was the hosts that made our stay even more spectacular. They all made us feel super welcome and at home, and were also very quick to get back to us with every question and need we had. Special shout out to Mary who made our stay unforgettable. You need to buy farm fresh eggs for her too! This property is so fun and unique I can’t wait to come back and visit from Cali. Thank you Mary!!!

Perfect for your Cooperstown Baseball Experience

Paired up with another baseball family from our son's teams , we just recently wrapped up our 2 week trip to Cooperstown Dreams Park and this property became our home away from home. Only 12 minutes from the park it was easy to travel back and forth in between scheduled games to grab a quick lunch, catch a nap, or take a break from the sun in the cool A/C. Everything you needed was just minutes away --- grocery stores, bars and restaurants, main street Cooperstown, The Lake. Such a relaxing atmosphere, the front porch was great for those early morning coffees or late night beers. What a view. We took full advantage of the BBQ grill, enjoyed the camp fire pit, and the kiddos loved the yard games. Inside there was plenty of room for all of us (4 adults, 4 kids) to eat, sleep, and have our own space. The open floor concept for the kitchen, dining, and living room really made the house and the 2 full bathrooms were clutch to help everybody get ready for the games. We cannot recommend this place enough for your stay especially for your baseball journey.

Perfect family getaway

Perfect place for our quick family getaway. The kids loved running on the huge lawn! Quiet and peaceful, yet close to all the things we had time to do. Wish we had time to spend a few more nights.

Excellent vacation rental

The guest house was clean & comfortable. There were 7 of us and the layout worked out beautifully. The setting was lovely. We enjoyed watching the deer in the hay fields and the rabbits hopping in the lawn by the house. We also enjoyed walking the trails on the property down to the creeks and talking with the owners and their parents. Gary made our son a "lucky horseshoe" for Cooperstown -- a highlight for his time at Dreamspark.

Wonderful choice for our week in Coopersrtown

We were VERY pleased with our rental! From the location, the amenities provided by the owners, the cleanliness, and especially Gary and Theresa! They provided us excellent hospitality, were always an easy phone call away, but also provided us complete privacy to enjoy their home! I also have to mention the bonus we enjoyed nightly...the view of grazing deer in the large front yard area!! What a relaxing, peaceful way to end some long days at the ball park! When our younger son also makes this trip, hopefully, we will definitely be back to this exact rental! Thanks so much!!!

We had a great week at the GT Summerhouse! Thanks, Theresa and Gary!

Our family stayed at GT Summerhouse while our son played baseball at Dreams Park. This house is new (about 5 yrs old), spacious, and was very, very clean! The layout is terrific because there are two bedrooms with Queen beds on one side with a full bath and there's another larger bedroom (Queen bed and 2 Singles) with another full bath that has a washer/dryer on the other side. The kitchen is big, new, and fully equipped. There is WiFi access at the house and free long distance calling. It's conveniently located right between Dreams Park and Downtown Cooperstown about an 8- 10 min drive to each. We enjoyed badmitton, volleyball, walks around the property, and making S'mores in the fire pit! There is lots of land to explore! Theresa and Gary are very friendly, helpful, and responsive hosts. On our way out, we stopped to see bats being turned at the Cooperstown Bat Co. in Hartwick which is about 1 mile from the house. We highly recommend this house for your stay in Cooperstown!
