Welcome to "The Land of Men", Te Fenua Enata in the Marquesan language, the raw nature is simply spectacular, far from the traditional images of the turquoise lagoons and the white sand beaches of the most famous islands of Polynesia. Here in the Marquesas you will find this subtle balance of yesteryear between Man and Nature, respect for ancestral customs, a rich history, and the best craftsmen of the Polynesian Territory.

Fare Mokai is located at the bottom of a large bay in the village of Taiohae on the south coast of Nuku Hiva. This place will be your home port, and will offer you tranquility, calm and comfort. Ideal therefore after long hectic days exploring the island!

The house has 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, each with a double bed. At your disposal 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets. For the 7th and 8th travelers, additional individual beds will be installed in 2 of the bedrooms.

The spacious terrace with 1 outdoor lounge will allow you to enjoy with family or friends, the last rays of sun of the day around an aperitif. Good moments of sharing in perspective!

The living room is very comfortable, equipped with a sofa, 2 armchairs and a flat screen TV. You can follow or discover the programs of local and French channels.

The kitchen is fully equipped to ensure complete autonomy during your stay. You will be able to prepare top chef meals and so delight the taste buds of your guests!

In the village you will find all the amenities: supermarkets, post office, bank, bakery, pharmacy, snacks…
