A Perfect Romantic Getaway in one of the countries most magical cities!!
The 1869 original Carriage House is a free standing cottage behind the main house with its own private entrance off the lane/alley.

It is located on the 2nd floor over the garage like all original carriage houses in Savannah, so there is a flight of stairs to get to the 2nd floor home.
The carriage house is where the livery driver lived in the 1800s above the horses and carriages he cared for. The Wedding Cake Carriage House comes with a highly coveted garage parking space.

The unusual design is evocative of a “Manhattan loft” set in a historic 1869 carriage house. This surprise blending of original 1920 - 1940 art deco furnishings and many antique elements creates a fun, casual ambiance.
The open and airy open concept living space showcases an entire wall of frosted artist windows, thus flooding the house with natural light.

The bedroom with king bed and TV is adjacent to the alluring bathroom with luxurious features such as 6 foot air tub and separate marble shower. The complete kitchen provides everything you need to whip up a Southern style meal or just grab toast and coffee on the way out your door to take in the cities historical sights that you are just steps out your door!

This reservation includes one private, garage parking space.

Guest may use the walled courtyard although it is shared with guests in the Main House.

There is a washer/dryer in the garage for you to use during your stay.

Maximum occupancy is 2 people, including infants & children.
Minimum age to reserve is 25 years old, no exceptions.
No pets or smoking.

Great romantic get-a-way

The carriage house was very nice, well-maintained, and stocked with all the basic necessities. Having the garage for parking our car and the jetted tub for soothing our muscles after long walks were great bonuses!

This was the absolute perfect place for my husband and me to stay on our first visit to Savannah! I had looked at various places and settled on this one because of the tub in the bathroom (LOL) and the parking space in the garage! It was exactly as described! Very clean! Excellent location! I was very thankful for the note beside the jetted tub explaining that the jets just randomly turn on from time to time! That definitely would have unnerved us without the warning! We hope to have a longer stay next time!

We left our car in the garage of this carriage house (included in stay) and therefore didn’t have to deal with parking elsewhere. Perfect location to walk everywhere we wanted.

Came down for engagement, wonderful place to stay at. Super clean and very comfortable, if you're wanting to sit around and watch tv might not be the best for you, but it's lovely if you're wanting a relaxing vacation with easy walks to historic Savannah

A Great Stay

We would strongly recommend this property. It was perfect for two, with the added benefit of great parking and a truly excellent location. We could walk everywhere we needed to go. It was exactly as presented. The bed was comfortable, and it was very clean.

Excellent location for the historic district.

The property was as described and you can’t beat the location. Perfect for walking the beautiful neighborhoods yet equally as easy to go just a few blocks to the highway out of downtown. Garage parking was indispensable.

Historic Heaven

This one bedroom apartment has so much historic charm. It is a former carriage house and retains the feel of old Savannah while being beautifully appointed with all the modern luxuries. It is centrally located in the historic district and is an easy walking distance from all historic Savannah has to offer. We loved it!

This place was really a beautiful spot in Savannah to stay in. The home was clean. The bathtub was enticing. Having our own garage to park in was a convenience I didn't know I needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Trip

My Husband and I spent 4 nights in Savannah and loved every minute of it. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to see because it is located so conveniently. It was clean, quiet and the garage was a real plus (we have a Honda CRV and it just fit in the garage). I would stay at this place again and recommend it to anyone who wants a nice place to stay.

Great location

Close enough to walk to sites and far enough to be quiet. Comfortable space with most all you need. Really appreciated the garage space for ease of parking and security. Our visit was only a weekend so we were able to get by with what was provided and without buying additional supplies. Our one recommendation would be for additional pillows that are for side/stomach sleepers (flatter and softer).

Cozy and updated carriage house

My husband and I stayed in the carriage house with our toddler (3yrs) and infant (8mos), and this place was perfect! Suzanne, the property manager from Luxury Living Savannah was quick to respond and helped keep our stay a surprise for the rest of our family, whom had rented out the main Wedding Cake House. Both the main house and the carriage house are incredible to see the historic detail, but nicely updated and comfortable. Within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and sightseeing, so we never had to leave the garage, which actually fit my husband’s Ford F-150! I would definitely stay here again and recommend this to anyone traveling to Savannah. Especially great for large groups that rent out both places as you can easily connect through the courtyard!

Savannah treasure

Wonderful location, charming accommodations, met all our needs. I would suggest management put more light bulbs in the bathroom above the sink. Poor lighting for putting on makeup. FYI: Wi-Fi connection was poor, best location was at the kitchen counter and bathroom. The garage was a plus, but do note, if you have a bigger vehicle somewhat challenging to drive in. ( I have a Chrysler Pacifica). The above comments don’t take away though from a 5 star rating. We would definitely return.

Location, comfort -- complete satisfaction.

I knew the town only from a map, but I hit the bullseye for location. It's ground zero for historic and picturesque residential. Around the corner from the "Garden of" house, and famous Jones Street, and Clary's breakfast place, and the 19th C. armory that was the building in Savannah College of Art and Design's campus, now occupying 92 old buildings all over town. A pleasant walk away are the attractive Public restaurant, and the handsome Six Pence Pub, and the cheerful Magic Mushroom, a pizza place attracting art students, locals, and tourists alike. I over-ate there thrice. A big Kroger's supermarket is fifteen minutes away, on foot, but all streets around this rental are barely traveled. The rental is superior in comfort, design, and decor, the neighborhood impossibly quiet by night and day (three nights, early in the week, in Feb.)

Great location! Great space.

Great space. Most everything is walking distance or a short Lyft/Uber. Clean place. Having the garage to park is awesome. We literally parked our car and didn’t move it again until we came home. I will say that the alley space and the garage entry is small. So if you’re driving a big vehicle, it might be tight. My car fit perfectly. The bathroom door will suction and close on its own. We got locked out of the bathroom but management was responsive and allowed us to fix it ourselves by removing the doorknob. Just don’t leave the bathroom door cracked! The bathtub is awesome. The shower is very nice. Perfect space for two people. We will rent this space again when we’re in Savannah. Tips: take extra towels if it’s hot and your might be taking more than one shower a day. There’s also washer/dryer but we didn’t use them. We love this place!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found the property in as good or better condition than depicted in the photos. It was very clean, great location for walking to almost anywhere. Having the garage for parking was so nice to not have to worry about moving the car for the street sweepers and safer. We have been coming to Savannah for consistently over the past seven years and have stayed in multiple rentals and I believe this was one of the best/complete package overall for the price. A couple of observations/suggestions: 1. Potential additional items in the kitchen additional pitcher, blender, cutting board. 2. Also, we loved the natural light in the living area most of the time, but for anyone trying to sleep on the pull-out couch, daylight came pretty early and there was no way to cover the windows. I would like to have had some pull-back black out curtains similar to those in the bedroom.
