Just what we needed!

I spent a week with friends and family while exploring Paris. The apartment was ideal: close to the Metro and a bus stop, comfortable, very quiet, and with a truly excellent (and reasonably priced!) bakery very close. In addition there were great wine shops, a very tasty pizza place and a supermarket in the neighborhood. Despite being off the usual tourist track, there were plenty of people in all the shops and restaurants nearby that spoke English, and they were all super helpful and friendly despite our very limited (or non-existent) French. Speaking of the neighborhood, it is very quiet and it feels very safe. It's not too far from the major tourist sites and lots of other places we went to in Paris. Also, the building is very secure, so we had no worries about safety at all. The bedrooms in the apartment have blackout curtains which make the rooms pitch black and very quiet. This is helpful when recovering from jet lag. You can also easily open them, which makes the rooms bright and cheerful. The owners were great to work with, and they left us with some welcome supplies when we checked in. This was super helpful for a bunch of tired, disoriented and jet-lagged people on the first day. They also supplied a tour of the apartment and the neighborhood on check-in, which was excellent. I would happily stay there again without any hesitation. It was worth every penny.

This was a great apartment for the 2 of us. Comfy bed and well stocked with all the added little extras we needed for cooking and staying. It is well situated at the edge of the Marais and touristy areas we wanted to see and the studio location within a lovely hidden private courtyard felt safe. We did unfortunately have a pick pocket incident at the Strassburg Denis subway, but our host Carole and the owners went above and beyond to help us sort everything out. We would have been very lost without they kindness! Can't ask for better hosts.

This apartment is a haven of designer style and luxurious comfort in a superb location. It is even more beautiful than the photos suggest, with stunning décor and statement pieces throughout. It is spacious, elegant and fully equipped with everything you need for an unforgettable stay. The location is ideal for exploring the city, convenient to several metro lines (ang a very quick trip from Gare du Nord if you’re arriving by Eurostar). A great neighbourhood close to Oberkampf and the Marais, with plenty of cafes and restaurants to explore nearby. Don’t miss the Marché Popincourt on Tuesdays and Fridays – a wonderful farmer’s market right on the boulevard Richard Lenoir. Very handy supermarkets nearby too – we enjoyed cooking many of our own meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The spacious bedroom is at the back of the apartment so is very calm and quiet. Jean-Pierre was very responsive and a delightful host, the arrival and departure arrangements went without a hitch. For a truly special stay in Paris, with a stylish Art Deco ambience, we cannot recommend this place highly enough.
