We had such a nice stay here for our anniversary. It was especially meaningful because we were able to come back to the area where we got engaged about 14 years ago. The cottage was peaceful and cozy, and it was wonderful having our little dogs with us, they really enjoyed their time here too. We loved being able to slow down, relax, and just enjoy being together. The owner was very kind and responsive, and we’d happily stay here again!

Another fantastic visit to the farm! So much thought and effort go into making sure guests have the most amazing time. We always feel truly grateful for the opportunity to experience such a special place. Fills our cup every time. Endless adventures to be had on the farm and nearby areas! Missing it already!

This cabin was the highlight of our entire trip! It was such a wonderful place to stay, with a super comfortable bed, a kitchen stocked with everything we needed, and a lovely jetted tub to relax in. But the best part was definitely the view. We could have spent the whole day sitting on the terrace, enjoying the scenery, and never gotten tired of it. The woods around the cabin made everything feel so peaceful and secluded.We also loved exploring the farm, and our coonhound absolutely loved all the smells! There are two lookouts with chairs where you can stop, sit back, and simply take it all in. We really enjoyed the views, the quiet, and the sounds of nature. It was such a peaceful and wonderful experience!We stayed at the end of September, so the pool was already closed, but we really enjoyed sitting around the gas fire table in the evenings. And don't forget to look up at the stars! The night sky was incredible! There's also a beautiful hiking spot just down the road. You can drive there or enjoy a longer walk along a quiet, pretty road with hardly any traffic. The hike up to the vista is a bit of a climb, but the breathtaking view from the top is absolutely worth the effort!This place is truly special. If you love nature, peaceful surroundings, and the chance to slow down and enjoy the little things, you will absolutely love staying here. We enjoyed every minute and would come back in a heartbeat!

So grateful for this amazing, very clean, secluded property! The acreage, trails, woods, and wildlife are incredible. Check-in/out and farm access are very detailed. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the host was wonderfully responsive. We booked this for our dog’s 3rd birthday-has a dog run and even a golf cart so you can keep up while your pup explores. Two days wasn’t enough—we can’t wait to come back!

This pet friendly property had everything we needed. We were delighted to find lots of conveniences and fun recreational options here all thoughtfully supplied and accessible. All the kitchen appliances you could ask for, a jetted tub, fireplaces that actually work, and everything and very complete working order not to mention clean. Property was peaceful and quiet and we loved exploring the vast acreage with the bikes and golf cart.

Weekend Getaway

Our stay was very relaxing. We enjoyed exploring the property on the golf cart and hanging out by the pool. My wife especially enjoyed sitting on the porch next to the hummingbird feeder and watching the hummingbirds.

Anniversary weekend away

The owner was very responsive to all of our questions and gave us some good suggestions for our Anniversary Weekend getaway. The house was lovely, clean and a perfect place for us to have a weekend away! We are already looking at booking a stay again next year!

Wonderful Retreat!

Really enjoyed the Quiet and Peaceful property with great hiking trails nearby. Can't wait to visit again! The Hammock at the pond was my favorite.

This is one of the best places to stay to get away from it all, but still be connected if needed. The cottage has everything you could want and it's located in an area so quiet and peaceful. The dogs enjoyed their long walks and all the things to see. A picnic by the pond is so relaxing and sitting on the porch and looking at all the stars makes this place a real hidden gem. We will keep returning here.

Amazing Mountain Getaway

This property is absolutely stunning, not only is the cottage everything someone could dream of for a mountain getaway, but the property has been so cared for— the forest has been manicured, the trails are well groomed, everything has been thought of and is absolutely perfect!

My wife and I have been staying here for many years. It's a great place to relax. We enjoy the pool, reading books, the scenery and watching the hummingbirds and the deer. The location is very peaceful. The cottage is clean and comfortable. The host replies very quickly to any questions. Rock Roadhouse Winery and Bacova Brewing Co in Hot Springs and Big Fish Cidery in Monterey are our favorite places to visit.

This was our third stay at this wonderful little gem in the country. Jim is a wonderful host and the cottage is all that we could hope for. The golf cart allows us to explore the farm and the quality grade accommodations make us feel spoiled and eager to continue to make this a bi-annual, rejuvenating visit!
