This is an excellent spot for fishing the area. I've stayed here multiple times over a few years. The place is great and the owner/manager is fantastic.

Fishing Rodeo

We were in town for a fishing rodeo and Giselle could not have been nicer. She allowed us to check in early, which was very kind of her. The house was clean, very comfortable and the outdoor deck area was great! Thank you for being such a great host.

A+ accommodation and location. Always super clean and the owner is always so helpful for guests. All the amenities you could want. 5 of us stayed this year and plan on coming back again.

Great house!

This house is REALLY nice for a fishing destination. Incredibly clean, well stocked, decorated nicely, and even had Christmas decorations up. Highly recommend it!

Clean and Convenient

This rental is very clean and it is well stocked with most items needed for the stay. We have stayed twice and will definitely be back again. Plenty of parking and the downstairs is great for cooking and hanging out. The screened in porch has plenty of room and nice seating areas. The interior is updated and the camp has plenty of linens for your stay.

Hopedale Fishing Trip

We enjoyed the beautiful, clean, well kept & well furnished, house convenient to great Louisiana fishing. I've stayed in a dozen spots from Delacroix to Hopedale. This is a quiet place to enjoy bayou wildlife, even saw deer in the backyard. The screened in porch is outstanding; we ate dinner outside each night.

Clean and Comfortable

The house was very clean and very updated. The house is set up very nicely and they have all the amenities take care of and available. Everything was very clean and the porch area is very nice as well. Plenty of sitting and gathering areas.

Making Memories

Such a perfect spot for some quality family time and fishing! Absolutely loved the screened in porch. Perfect for the young grandkids to play and watch the boats go by and birds! The owners thought of everything! Very well furnished. Definitely will keep in mind for another trip.

Shell Beach Getaway

Highly recommend Capt. Richard's Rental House. The house was not only newly renovated, but also very clean and accommodating. The entire ground under the camp is concrete which is great for entertaining. Any questions I had, the owner was responding within minutes.
