Bernard & Monique open the doors of an authentic old traditional 19th century "miner's house" (formerly linked to a small iron ore mining site owned by the local industrial empire Schneider), steeped in history & fully restored, nestled on the edge of a lane, in the heart of a peaceful, charming, typical & perfectly preserved little village (one of the smallest communes in the department). Calm & total tranquility, nestled in the heart of the preserved wine-growing countryside of Maranges in the hollow of a bucolic valley of woods & meadows surrounded by vineyard hillsides, at the foot of various "belvedere" mountains all culminating at over 500m (including Mont Rome & the "Montagne des Trois Croix", classified as a "natural park" offering an exceptional 360° panorama). Magnificent landscaped setting all around, mixing nature & viticulture. Enchanting & totally soothing setting. Spacious gîte with very good comfort. Large living room. Contemporary, neat character combined with the exotic soul of an old residence. Warm & cozy atmosphere. Large exposed panoramic balcony-terrace (18m²) offering a beautiful unobstructed view of the surrounding gentle rolling countryside with vineyards in the background. Pleasant enclosed property of 4000m², carefully lawned & planted with trees, with a fruit orchard (apple trees, quince trees, cherry trees, vine peaches, apricot trees, walnut trees… / picking possible during the stay), literal secure natural playground for children. Composition: House comprising 2 gîtes + owners' accommodation (total independence). Wifi (fiber). Electric heating + fireplace. Gîte on the 1st floor: living room-kitchen-lounge (double sofa bed 140x190cm as an extra), 2 bedrooms (double bed 160x190cm / 2 single beds 80x200cm which can be twinned into a double bed 160x200cm), bathroom (shower), separate toilet. Private balcony-terrace. Shared enclosed grounds (4000m²) + shared bicycle storage. Private parking. Amenities including supermarket 5.5 km away. Total tranquility & picture-postcard landscapes in the heart of the sumptuous Maranges vineyards! Authentic old traditional "miner's house" full of history dating from the 19th century, fully restored in a neat contemporary spirit, nestled in a quiet area in a charming little typical wine village on a pleasant enclosed property of 4000m², 5.5 km from the charming medieval & commercial city of Nolay (very many amenities including supermarket and lake equipped for swimming). In the heart of the wine-growing countryside, neighboring the gentle Cozanne valley in the heart of the world-renowned vineyards of the Hautes Côtes de Beaune & Côtes de Beaune, at the crossroads of Couchois (Côtes Chalonnaises), magnificent hilly setting, combining bucolic vineyard hillsides, green meadow valleys & wooded hills. Prime location on the very route of the famous "Jean-Marc Boivin" (JMB) hiking trail, adjacent to numerous marked hiking trails in "green walks" (crisscrossing the territory between vineyards & nature), the circuit of Romanesque churches & the "Route des Grands Vins" (extended by the illustrious "Route des Grands Crus" crossing the mythical wine villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard, Meursault ...), 2 km from the GRP "Au Fil des Vignobles et Vallées" (connected to the GR7 & GR137), 2.5 km from the Green Way "from Morvan to the Vineyards", 4.5 km from the cycle route "La Voie des Vignes" (36 km route among the vineyards of the great Burgundy wines, the most eminent in the world), 7 km from the "EuroVélo6" attached to the "Tour de Bourgogne à vélo" (along the famous Canal du Centre, a navigable route to discover by boat or on foot) & 8 km of a referenced "favorite bike loop" of 24 km (another route of the same type of 18 km accessible at 14 km). Ultra-privileged location on the border of the Côte d'Or, at the crossroads of the magnificent territories of Pays Beaunois, Autunois and Morvan (& its Natural Park). Ideal for exploring several departments: 7 km from the spa town of Santenay (casino on site), 9 km from the medieval town of Couches (exceptional 13th century castle of Marguerite de Bourgogne, Queen of France), 9 km from the famous climbing site of Cormot, 12 km from Chagny, 25 km from Beaune, 26 km from Le Creusot (Combes amusement park / Creusot TGV station 28 km away), 30 km from Autun ("Town of Art and History", rich in inestimable heritage covering more than 2000 years of human occupation), 31 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (labeled "Town of Art and History") & 54 km from the famous Gallo-Roman archaeological site of Bibracte labeled "Grand Site de France".
