The kitchen is fully appointed and adjacent to the living area for easy conversation. There are 1 1/2 bathrooms with a laundry room for your convenience. Sleep six comfortably in the first floor master and the second floor bedroom. The second floor is a spacious loft with a half bath accessible by a flight of stairs. Quiet property with an unbeatable view

We have stayed at this property multiple times. We always enjoy it very much. Easy to access Caribou Hills trails for recreation and a view that never gets old. We will be back!

Beautiful views, wear layers!

Accommodations beautiful. View is beautiful. It's just the heat. It never did work. We had two space heaters that eventually heated it up, but had to get from manager on Saturday night - back in town. So, two days with no significant heat in the winter. Said it was fixed, but air blowing from vents wasn't warm. Thermostat was cranked to 90 when we arrived, and we didn't turn it down. Space heaters worked once we put them in place, but seems dangerous. Would certainly visit again in the summer. Also - please provide alternative to putting garbage in dumpster if it’s buried in snow.

Comfortable, cute cabin with magnificent views

I highly recommend this cabin. It’s very cozy with great decor to give you the overall Alaskan cabin feel. The view is AMAZING!!! Waking up to the view was one of the highlights of the trip! It was also very comfortable and well equipped with everything you would need. Owner is very responsive if you need anything. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Homer!

Why they chose this property

This scenic property is a great place to get away from it all while enjoying magnificent views. It is located 20 minutes from downtown Homer on 4 acres. Even though the cabin is in a rural setting there are neighbors and a school nearby (although you can't see them) and amenities such as a country store and gas station. All the privacy you want, but not isolated at all.
