Welcome to Aquarius Penthouse #3, a 4 Bedroom/5.5 Bathroom Beachfront Penthouse located at Aquarius Condominiums on South Padre Island, Tx. This 10th floor condo was recently remodeled in 2023 and is situated on the northeast side of the building and takes up the majority of the 10th floor! The 180 degree views of the Gulf of Mexico, Laguna Madre Bay, and South Padre Island's beautiful beach are breathtaking from this vacation rental! Aquarius Condominiums has great amenities for guests to use. The pool is heated, which is a huge plus during our winter season. The pool area is large, and has an ample amount of lounge chairs to enjoy South Padre's tropical island climate. The complex offers private beach access for all rental guests.

The interior of the condo has an open concept floor plan. The kitchen, living area and dining area are perfect for gathering with friends or family. Guests will enjoy sitting in the living area and looking out into the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico or taking in the tropical sea breeze from one of the 4 spacious waterfront balconies! During Summer and holidays, this penthouse offers guests a front row seat to South Padre Island's famous firework shows over the bay!

Guests will love preparing meals in the large kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils making cooking a breeze! Some other worthwhile kitchen amenities this penthouse includes is an espresso machine, Vitamix, and new range stove. The dining area is located in between the living area and kitchen. The large square dining table is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a family meal while overlooking the ocean! There are two living areas with ample seating for guests to relax and lounge around in this penthouse making it comfortable for large groups.

This Penthouse accommodates up to 20 guests. All the bedrooms are very spacious, and the condo offers multiple balconies to take in fantastic ocean and bay views.
The master bedroom entails a king bed, flat screen tv, private balcony, and ensuite bathroom with a newly remodeled walk in shower.
The second bedroom a king bed, flat screen tv, closet, and en suite bathroom with a newly remodeled walk in shower.
The third bedroom entails two (2) full beds, flat screen tv, closet, and private balcony,
The fourth bedroom features two (2) full size beds, two (2) twin beds with twin trundles (4 total twins), flat screen tv, closet, and a large newly remodeled bathroom with walk in tile shower and four sink vanity!

Aquarius Condominiums is centrally located on South Padre, and is within a 10 minute walk to a multitude of restaurants, bars, shopping, and SPI's entertainment district!
Parking is easy, as this vacation rental offers guests up to four (4) parking spots for their vehicles inside the gated complex.

Every stay at Aquarius Penthouse #3 includes a complimentary starter kit stocked with essential vacation items such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, laundry detergent, coffee and filters, olive oil, and basic seasonings. For your comfort, we recommend bringing a few personal favorites such as beach towels, sunscreen, extra blankets, bottled water, or baby items. We love this penthouse oh so much! This is our second time there and it didn't disappoint. Will definitely be back. Our favorites thing is the views and the short walk to the amazing sandy beach!

Clean and spacious, gorgeous views

Gorgeous views of both the Gulf and the Bay, all at the same time, from the very spacious living area with multiple balconies. Check-in and check-out were easy, and minor technical issues resolved quickly and efficiently. The unit was very clean and spacious, great for extended families or large groups. Our only critique was that in the bedrooms, while there was plenty of hanging space for clothes, there was a notable absence of drawer space.

Quiet sleep and beautiful views

Increíble departamento, hermosas vistas, muy buena ubicación, todo muy acogedor y en excelente estado. Lo que mejoraría, agregar sillas en las terrazas para disfrutar de esas hermosas vistas en el exterior y algunos artículos de playa para uso de los huéspedes. Una de las habitaciones no cuenta con baño dentro del cuarto, sería ideal en una remodelación contemplar un baño para comodidad de ese cuarto. Excelente servicio de SPI Rentals, todo muy sencillo y ágil para cotización, reserva, y entrega del departamento. Nos encantaría poder regresar a ese departamento.

It was amazing

I can't begin to tell you what a beautiful place this is. It has a panoramic view of the Gulf and the bay. We had 7 women from Nebraska and no one complained about anything. You have so much room you can get lost in the penthouse, which you wanted to do with 7 women. We all loved it and want to come back next year. Thanks for the memories.

Togetherness with privacy as well.

We lived this property for a family reunion. Beautiful view with easy access to the beach. Enough room for all of us to be together and yet we each had our bedroom and bathroom. We happened to hit good weather and it was fantastic!

Exceptional for Large Families

We stayed for three nights for our yearly family vacation that we take during the New Year holiday season. We have a large family with kiddos ranging in ages from 25 down to 8 years old and we often run into the problem of finding a VRBO that doesn't feel like we are packed in on top of each other. This unit was so inviting, clean, spatious and perfect for our family of 9. Each of our kids had their own bed and sleeping area - the kids room with multiple bunks, bean bags and the theater room were a huge hit - not to mention the space for everyone to be able to be in the kitchen together and have a comfortable place to sit. The location is perfectly situated within walking distance to many fun attractions, shops and restaurants. We had one issue with the gate not opening but the property management company was quick to address and fix the issue. The grounds were being worked on but the workers were very kind and courteous! My younger kids absolutely LOVED the pool area and were thrilled to see the snails and small lizards. I would highly recommend this unit for larger families or groups.

The unit was spacious, the view was spectacular! A few gripes I have is the stained furniture and hair on the floor throughout the unit. If I'm getting charged for a cleaning service, and so did the previous renters, I should have walked into a clean floor.

Great views, nice grounds and pool. Very comfortable.

The property was as advertised, and the views and balconies were great. The pool and grounds were nice, and the beach access was easy. The layout was great, with bedrooms separated from the living areas, and very comfortable all around for our group. Kitchen was well equipped.

Amazing! Will definitely stay again.

The place was amazing. We had multiple families stay and it did not feel crowded. The house was exactly as described and great access to the beach! Perfect vacation spot for our family! Everything was clean with plenty of extra bedding and pillows. Communication with host was quick and easy, We would definitely stay here again. :)

Excellent location, gorgeous views!

Excellent location. Perfect fit for 4 families. Gorgeous views. We were able to check in little early and check out timing was flexible if you request. Induction stove top was little tricky to use at least for us (we had to call maintenance to find out how it works) and we couldn't get dishwasher to work properly because of the fit. I would recommend putting some hand soap in kitchen , air purifiers in bathrooms. Dinnerware could be upgraded to ceramic instead of plastic. For a condo this big, kitchen needs a bigger trash bin.

The accommodations were beyond wonderful! This has one of the best floor plans for a large group of people. There are plenty of places to sleep and lots of showers and bathrooms. The huge front living area and kitchen allow for groups to visit and be together but have areas for separate things to occur at same time. One of the highlights is standing in the main living area and being able to see the bay and the beach at the same time!

Modern remodel with great views

This property was excellent. While the building is older, it has been redone and they’ve included so many comforts. Beautiful kitchen with huge island/bar with a hidden playroom underneath. Spacious, relaxing living area with lots of bathrooms and great views. The only downside to this property is the low water pressure.

Breathtaking view!

The penthouse was amazing. It was very clean spacious and came with all amenities needed. It accommodated my big family well as well as provided us with a beautiful view of the beach. We enjoyed the pool as well. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful!

We had an amazing time! Beautiful penthouse condo on the 10th floor with room for everyone! Two large living areas, theater room with projector, beautiful gulf views, large well stocked kitchen with island, plenty of beds and 6 bathrooms! We had 3 couples in our party and thoroughly enjoyed our time here! They do provide you with small travel side soaps and toiletries, we brought extra paper towels and toilet paper. If you plan to eat at the condo you will need to supply your own spices, etc but we knew that before we came. We did have one very minor maintenance request while there and they were quick to respond and repair! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Beachfront Condo

Where do I begin. From the great ocean views to the beauty of the penthouse, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay at. Plenty of space and plenty of luxury and comfort. Also the check in and check out process is easy and not complicated. Almost feels as it's more difficult to schedule a hotel than a condo. Me and my family loved it and will be returning for further vacations. Thank you!

Wonderful Stay

Had a great experience with SPI Rentals. Staff are well versed and provided excellent customer service. They were also very welcoming upon arrival for our check-in. Penthouse #3 was amazing. It is spacious, beautiful and the kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals from induction pots and pans to a Vitamix. The bedrooms are large and the beds comfortable. The bunkhouse room was a big hit with the grandkids as well. The view was beautiful for both the gulf and beach sides. We had a great little vacation and would definitely stay here again.
