Stay was all we expected and more. Close to great food, great beaches and some amazing golf courses. Overall facilities pool and gym were fantastic as well. Management took care of all needs during our stay. Would book and stay again.

Great place to stay on Kauai. Location was perfect for seeing the whole island. Plenty of space for our family. Loved that they had laundry detergent, stain spray (for the red dirt!), dish washer pods, plastic bags, spices, etc. Those things are never expected in VRBOs but so nice when they’re available! The pool and hot tub were great too!

We loved our stay here! It was a beautiful property and perfect place for our family to stay. Everything was clean and the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We loved the beach equipment in the garage. The location was perfect. Close to the beach, restaurants and shopping.

Unit was very clean and great location /close to poipu beach. Unit was as advertised and super easy check in. Unit was pretty warm at night with A/C set higher than we would’ve liked but we expect that in Hawaii where electric rates are high. We were disappointed that the hot tub was out of order (or under renovations) at the facility but we were at the beach most of the time so it didn’t interfere with anything. All in all a fun trip on our first visit to Kaua’i.

This is our third time staying at Pili Mai and overall we had a lovely stay in 5K. The living room, dining area (large table) and kitchen are the stars of the home. These areas are comfortable, spacious and well-stocked. Before arriving, we were excited to use the large lanai, but unfortunately, upon our arrival, we discovered that this would not be possible; the floor and furniture are not clean (bird droppings) and had obviously not been cleaned in a long time. This unit is very close to the wonderful pool, hot tub and gym. Only two out of the three showers can be used at the same time, or else the water will automatically turn off! As well, the AC can not go below 74 degrees! Speaking of AC, the bedroom by the front of the unit has a portable AC unit. This AC unit was loud and was attached to the window which caused a safety/security issue. The cleanliness of the condo could be much improved: many of the dishes needed to be rewashed before we could use them, the floors were not clean (obvious with white socks), two of the toilets were not clean, the wall around the primary bathroom toilet was not clean and worst of all, there were blood stains on two of the duvets (primary and middle bedrooms); these duvets are clearly not washed between visits. I’m not sure if we would stay here again. This condo has a lot of potential, but needs some improvements asap.

We were disappointed to learn after your departure about the concerns regarding the lanai, floors, bathrooms, dishes, and bedding. Had we been made aware during your stay, we would have gladly sent our housekeeping team over promptly to address everything so you could fully enjoy your vacation. We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay so we have the opportunity to make things right. Regarding the stained duvet, we responded as soon as you contacted us and offered to replace it immediately, but unfortunately we did not hear back. We appreciate you bringing that to our attention. The water shutoff system is part of the resort’s leak detection system, which is designed to protect the property from water damage. In some cases, extended simultaneous shower use can trigger the system. The air conditioning settings are also configured to operate within the manufacturer’s recommended range to ensure reliable performance, particularly in Hawaiʻi’s tropical climate. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving the guest experience. Mahalo again for staying with us, and we wish you all the best!
