We had a great stay in the Northwoods. The property and home were exactly as advertised and Darren was very easy to communicate with and responsive. The property is very well cared for, inside and out. We enjoyed the beautiful lake setting and the peace of the deck. Inside it was extremely clean and well stocked. There are not enough nice things to say about our stay and we hope we can return again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The home is beautiful, exceptionally clean, nicely updated, and very well maintained. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and care into making this a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.The outdoor spaces were a huge highlight for us. The deck was fantastic, with very comfortable furniture and a Blackstone griddle that we definitely enjoyed putting to good use. The landscaping and grounds are beautiful and make the entire property feel like a true vacation getaway. We also loved being able to relax and enjoy the peaceful lake setting. The fire pit area and furniture was amazing.Our family had a great time and really enjoyed the area. The location is perfect for enjoying the lake, relaxing at the property, and exploring the nearby towns and restaurants. Everything about the stay was easy and exactly what we were hoping for.We loved our time here and are already looking forward to coming back next year. This is definitely a 5-star property, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing Northwoods getaway!

We had a great stay at the property. Everything you need is there. Very well maintained and nicely decorated. Lake is great with the Loons always talking. Host did an excellent job communicating with us as well.

We’ve been coming up north since I was a kid. We had a cabin on North Turtle Lake that we sold in 2020. I just celebrated my 29th birthday and I have to say this was by far my favorite trip. The cabin is cozey, functional, and beautifully curated. Many times you come up and there’s a lack of utensils, linens, products. This felt like a 5-star hotel. Everything we could have needed was there. From cornhole, smart TVs, games, the blackstone, ample towels and paper products, incredible firepit, water raft, etc., … It is truly something special. Incredible communication from the host without being overbearing. Easy check in and check out process. Some of my favorite things: You hear the loons every morning and evening. The water is very clean and goes from about 2 feet to 10 feet right off the pier. The showers stay hot. The chairs at the firepit are comfortable enough to sleep in. As well as the beds and furniture in the home. I have no complaints. My family and I will be back. Thank you to the host for everything.

Cozy retreat with every modern amenity!

House was wonderful with everything we needed for our week long stay! Very comfortable and exceptionally clean! The landscaping and grounds and beautiful and enjoyable to either sit by the fire pit or just hang around on the dock! Location is fantastic being minutes from great restaurants and downtown. Would definitely recommend this lovely home!

Awesome house on South Turtle Lake!

We had a great time with family and friends in a well set up cabin on a beautiful lake. Nice amenities with a great kitchen and bathrooms. We will be back.

Mountain biking trip

The house is a prime location for biking the Winman trails. House is clean and comfortable with great amenities. Highly recommended and we will definitely stay at this home again in the future.

The Winman trails are so close to the home it really is a great spot for the adventurous bike riders. But for those that just want to get out and enjoy walking and enjoying nature the groomed trails are a wonderful experience as well. I hope to see you again!

Sisters week in the Northwoods

We absolutely loved our stay at this home! We enjoyed hiking, biking, boating, fishing and everything else the Northwoods has to offer in the summer. We would for sure rent this home again, it was fully stocked with everything we needed and more and the communication with the host was great!

Peaceful Place

Enjoyed the stay at this home very much, very relaxing with a great view. Well equipped kitchen and baths. Cozy and comfortable house. The only tiny little thing I would have liked is a canoe or kayaks, however we did rent some so it wall worked out. I would stay again!

I do get asked once and awhile from guests if I provide kayaks and canoes. I simply do not due to liability reasons. Companies that rent leisure type boats and canoes have the proper insurance for this and newer and updated equipment. And as far as I know they all deliver!

Lovely Early Fall Week

We had a great time on Turtle Lake. Rented a pontoon through Good Nuf Rentals and it served us well. The house is in great shape and it lives up to the pictures and descriptions that are listed.

This is the second time we stayed at this lake house. It is lovely and had everything we needed.

We love this lake house. Second time we have been there to enjoy the north woods in the autumn. We will definitely be back next year. The house is well appointed and lovely. We had a great time and got some much needed rest and relaxation.

Family Getaway

Very comfortable and cute place. The updated outdoor space was very nice o too! We did everything from play board games, sight seeing, fishing, swimming, and more fishing. Our boat rental was easily tied up to the dock right out front which was very convenient. Great communication.

I'm glad to hear you brought your boat! The Turtle Chain is such a great grouping of lakes. The small peninsula the cabin is on is priceless. You feel so secluded but yet so close to everything.

Great time in the Northwoods!

Cabin and property was clean and well-stocked with all the essentials for a low-stress getaway in the Northwoods. Backyard was great in the evenings by the fire pit. Early mornings were often spent fishing for panfish off the dock. Within a short drive of a coffee shop (Dixie’s), hikes for waterfalls, lumberjack show, beach, and many other adventures.

I cannot believe I missed the Lumberjack Show. My kids and I enjoy it so much. There is so much to do inside and outside of the cabin! Dixies is such a treat and we are lucky to have so many fabulous destinations for fine treats and eats up near the cabin. Thank You for staying with us and I hope to see you again!

Great Up North Stay

This property is great, simply put. Its clean, well appointed and has ample space to do anything you need to do. The deck over looking the lake is a great place to relax and enjoy the morning or evening. The owner has a very nice pier use for boating or just swimming and South Turtle Lake is a really great lake in northern Wisconsin. We hope to be back someday soo!

Easy to relax in such a wonderful place!

The WinMan was perfect! Very clean! Well stocked kitchen made family meals a breeze. Deck has plenty of room for sun and shade seekers alike. Dock was great for our rental boat and the fire pit capped many an evening. Plenty of space for our family of four to spread out.

I’m glad to hear that you had use of a boat. The chain is so much fun to explore and have fun on. I hope you come back again. Maybe consider the winter time and enjoy snowmobiling or cross country skiing on the incredibly groomed trails. I actually enjoy the winters as much if not more than summer!
