Family get together

We booked the house to get the grown kids down from Auckland, while we came up from Wellington together for a weekend. Lovely location! Only shame was the spa wasn't quite what I was hoping for. But the other facilities were useful and we had a fantastic time.

Condition of the house

The overall condition of the house is old, in need of a major overhaul, paint is coming off the window sills. The overall decor is old, in need of a major upgrade The house smell damp when we first entered. The spa pool was not very inviting, due to the gardens being overgrown and un tended. Overall impressions are not very good, would not recommend this house. We would not go out on the upper deck as these were a real fall hazard, moss build up, and bad decking. Needs a lot of work to be bought up to a reasonable standard
