Lovely fresh accommodation with private garden BBQ area for you to relax in with a glass of New Zealand Wine. Two plate cooktop, Microwave and Electric Frypan in unit.Fold up bed for children and a Portacot, Highchair and Stroller for baby.150Metre walk to local shops which include Dairy, Bakery, Fish and chips, Chinese Takeaway/Buffet and The Coffee Guy. Walk across the road to Pukekura Raceway for a flutter on Race Day, the TSB Stadium or the Bowl 0f Brooklands (eg: WOMAD), and to stroll through Pukekura Park renowned for its beauty or perhaps watch a 20/20 cricket game from the Terraces. For the Len Lye Centre, Nightlife, Restaurants and Cafe’s choose 2 minutes by car or stroll through the park to the CBD on a lovely day. Our famous scenic Coastal Walkway is there to enjoy a walk, cycle or skate or maybe a swim in our local beach’s or the Aquatic Pool Centre. PLEASE NOTE: Second Queen bedroom with own ensuite is detached from King Studio across small courtyard and has Freeview TV. This room may not be suitable for young chidren.
Take a 30 minute drive to Mt Taranaki to experience the numerous natural attractions it has to offer.

Ideal accommodation for a stay in New Plymouth

We spent three nights in this charming, comfortable and well-equipped bach. Location is convenient for trips to Mt Taranaki, Pukekura Park and the Coastal Walkway, as well as restaurants and bars. Del and Graeme are great hosts, and we enjoyed our stay enormously.

Highest recommendation for this beautifully presented accommodation. Everything well organised with generous extras and a friendly, helpful host. While it's on a main road, the studio(s) are at the back of the section behind the main house so it is very quiet. Tastefully decorated and the set-up worked perfectly for the three of us.

The property was an excellent location for an 11 night stay for a sporting event. The hosts were delightful to meet and the property was extremely clean and tidy. The little touches of the chocolates are a great example of how much thought goes into making the guests feel comfortable. We would definitely come back!

I am a very proud New Zealander. I grew up on a farm in the King Country and moved to New Plymouth with my family when I was 9yrs old and have lived in this beautiful city ever since. My husband and I have a great love of travel but always enjoy to come home and I really enjoy meeting all the lovely people I get to meet with this venture. Can't wait to meet you all.

Why they chose this property

We live on a wide Avenue directly across from our beautiful Racecourse and have the enjoyment of having particular length races jump across the road from our lounge window. We love our characterful home and hope to stay here for a very long time.

What makes this property unique

Racecourse/Bowl of Brooklands/Pukekura Park across the road giving lots of activities for everyone. We hope to stay here in this beautiful part of the world forever. Come enjoy it with us as well.
