Wellington stay

Our family enjoyed staying at this property. It had plenty of room and the location was close to downtown and easily walkable. We had great communication with the property manager. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place in the city

Our party of 7 stayed here for 4 days and it was a perfect home base for us. Owners were extremely kind and helpful and the whole process could not have been better. Highly recommend!

The location is perfect for the best beaches, and te papa museum, Weta workshop and shopping and paua diving! The host was wonderful and made sure there was a bed made up for each of our 14 people.It was a wonderful stay, a place we could make a big pot of soup on a could night and not have to go to a restaurant. Only slight downside ‘a lot of stairs’ due to being on the hill, but the view is worth it!

This is the second time we've stayed at this fantastic place and it was just as good as the first time (which was 7 years ago).The place is very warm and welcoming, super clean (really the cleanest place we've ever stayed at). The view is amazing and it only a short walk into the city. Perfect for a group get away.We also liked the added touch of a pillow menu, so you get the best nights sleep.Thanks again for having us.

Thanks for the 5 Star review. For those who are concerned about access, OB Retreat is located in Oriental Bay at the base of Mt Victoria. Like most streets in Wellington, it is elevated. This naturally ensures you have great views of the harbour. We offer two car parks on our car deck for standard vehicles. Should you have more than 2 cars, coupon parking is available on Oriental Parade. OB Retreats location does mean you are only a short stroll into the city and a lot of Wellington attractions.

Amazing!

Extended family stayed at OB Retreat for a family wedding. Everyone commented that it was the perfect place to stay! Beautiful views, warmth, location to be able to walk a lot & so much more resulted in the perfect stay. Host was fantastic also. Highly, highly recommend.

Beautiful house

Loved our stay at Carolyn’s beautiful Oriental Bay house. The perfect base for going to a wedding on the waterfront. It had everything we needed and Carolyn was welcoming and on hand with any questions we had.

OB Retreat is fabulous with everything you’ll need

As a group of ladies having a large house with 2 bathrooms was just what we needed. The house is superbly appointed with absolutely everything you’ll need and a Gorgeous view to boot. We would highly recommend this property and we would rent it again.

What an amazing property. For a group of 10 ladies, there was plenty of room and a bed for each person. Absolutely stunning views. Communication was seamless and easy. Would love to come back with my family one day!
