Nice clean cottage style. perfect for a couples stay. location is perfect for walking distance to many attractions including arnold's park and much more!
A beautiful cozy cabin and quiet location. The owners had an anniversary card on the table when we arrived. Everything that we needed was provided for our stay. Looking forward to our next stay.
This is an excellent place to stay if you need somewhere to sleep and a fridge to keep your drinks cold.
The gripes: There's no microwave.
The A/C takes over an hour to cool the bedroom when it's hot out. There's a note saying it takes 10 minutes to cool down. This is not true.
The property seems to have sewer issues. The sink is slow to drain and the shower would overflow if you let it.
There's a note that if you run out of the two rolls of toilet paper that is provided, they want you to buy your own toilet paper of a certain brand.
Now, Two rolls IS plenty for a weekend. But try telling your wife that when she thinks you'll run out.
At $400 a night, I would call the owner first and get some more from them.
The Good: This place is within walking distance of Arnold's Park and the nightlife (bars). The owners are friendly, and there's enough parking for everyone. The floor layout makes sense, and it feels comfortable to be inside.
Bottom Line: If you need a place to lay your head within walking distance, This is a great choice. I'd do it again, and I'd ask for the toilet paper upfront

Hello Jeremiah,
With no communication from you on any of these during your stay, or until a month post stay. We would be happy to discuss further and address your concerns.
Microwave - We have limited countertop space, but we do have a gas cooktop and oven to use. Over the years, we have found that the majority of our guests don't even use our kitchen as we have so many great restaurants within walking distance. This is also a health concern.
A/C - August was an exceptionally hot month - in the 90s so we are sorry it took longer than normal to cool our cottage
Toilet Paper - just ask... we are happy to give our guests more toilet paper.
sink & shower drainage - We haven't had any previous guests tell us about this drainage concern, but we will look into it. Also, Spring of 2024, the City of Arnolds Park will be installing new sewer and water lines in our area.
I always encourage our guests to call me or knock on my door as I am available to help with any concerns. THANK YOU for staying with us!
The location to walk to many restaurants was great. The bike trails, paddling and beaches are all very nice. Although there was no TV, we used the internet to connect. The place was very clean, lots of kitchen items, and the host was great.
