Peaceful and centrally located overlooking the Northumberland Strait. This NEW cottage is steps from the beach. Eight minutes from Confederation Bridge, guests can easily access Cavendish (38 minutes), Charlottetown (40 minutes), Victoria By the Sea (10 minutes) and much more! Enjoy evening campfires and gorgeous sunsets or stroll along endless sandbars at low tide.

The Sand Dollar Escape provides it's guests with everything they need for a great vacation. You will have a fully equipped kitchen, beach towels and sand toys. There is a smart TV for you to cast your favorite shows if you find yourself looking to relax.

It was a lovely view. Beds were comfortable and amenities were fine. The cottage was not water front but water view and there was a bit of a walk to the beach. The tv remote had no symbols left on it. They had worn off and since we were not used to satellite service, we could not watch TV. Directions listed to find the cottage were incorrect- it was a right turn off the highway, not a left one after the bridge.

The house is very nice - it's new, clean, and nicely decorated. The location is great - it's near the bridge and it's a very short walk to the beach. However, it's the host that is the best. It's easy to see that she has put a lot of thought and effort into this rental house to make sure people have a great stay. I highly recommend staying at this property. You won't be disappointed. My only regret from the entire stay is that we had a miscommunication in my family when we were leaving, and the dishwasher and washing machine were not started before we left, as had been requested by the host. I feel bad to have made things more difficult for her because she's just so great! I really, really appreciated my stay there, and I hope I can return in the future.

Great cottage close to the beach

This is a very nice, new cottage very close to the beach. It's in a nice, quiet neighbourhood but we hardly even saw the neighbours. The house was very clean and had excellent beds. The owners put good effort into making it a comfortable place to stay. Highly recommend it!!

Just what we needed

Brand new, clean and fresh cottage to stay. All the amenities we needed. Typical seaside cottage design with a short walk to the beach. Great location. Central to everything we needed. I docked a star for the accuracy of the listing. Sleeps 8 is a bit of a stretch. There are three bedrooms and a pull out but functionally, it would be very difficult to sleep 8 for any period of time. The place is smaller than we had expected. It is certainly cozy. We would stay here again if the price remains reasonable. Thanks for having us!

Richard Point is a quiet area with direct beach access. I love the beach. Searching in tide pools, walking the sandbars or swimming at high tide. This is my happy place!

This is my heart cottage. It is something that I wanted to build for a long time and it has finally come to fruition. Not only is the cottage brand new - it is in an ideal location for day trips to Charlottetown, Cavendish, Summerside or Victoria. The possibilities are endless.
