The living room has a flat screen TV and a DVD player. There is surround sound for listening to relaxing music provided by the two high quality speakers attached to the ceiling - great acoustics!
The modern kitchen is fresh, bright and fully equipped with everything you will need to practice your culinary talents!
It has a bar area that sits 3 people for cocktails to keep the chef entertained. Margarita glasses are housed in the cupboard over the stove.
Maybe you wont even cook at all!
There are so many wonderful choices to grab a lunch or linger over dinner in Old Town.
The main floor also has a separate laundry room with full size washer and dryer and stores beach towels for guests to use at the pool or beach.
An ironing board and iron are stored in the upstairs bedroom closet, in case you want to take in a play at the local Red Barn Theater. Blow dryers and curling irons are in the both upstairs bathrooms.
There is a convenient main floor 2 piece powder room located beside the laundry room.
This is one of only two Foundry homes that has a center hall plan, oversized garden/patio and is a 2 storey dwelling - other Foundry units have 3 storeys.

My husband and I made our first trip to Key West in 1997.
Astounded at all of the sites and sounds, we fell hopelessly in love with Old Town! - The Victorian architecture, the charming and colorful Conch cottages tucked away on the small narrow laneways, the stunning sunsets and the casual rhythm of island life - there is always the unexpected!
Most days, we ride our bicycles to do the shopping or to go to the beach and leave the car parked under the carport - Both of us enjoy a carefree, yet active and stimulating life here in wonderful Key West - hardly attainable anywhere else in the world.
There is so much fascinating history and stunning natural beauty!
The authentic island flavor of Bahama Village and the lush grandeur of the Truman Annex Community have resonated with us all these years and continue to provide us with a refuge from a frantically fast paced world elsewhere.

Our Foundry Building is an historic structure circa 1860, located within the gated community of the Truman Annex, formerly a U.S. Naval Base.
The wide open main floor of our home struck us with its spacious, airy atmosphere - the 12 foot high ceilings stunted all of the other properties we had seen before.
The exposed brick walls, full of character, remind us constantly of the rich and colorful heritage of Key West!
There are only 3 residents in our building and we enjoy this exclusivity.
We love to grill and eat dinner under the stars and value the large and extremely rare outdoor space, palm lined garden, deck and antiqued brick patio. The garden offers quiet privacy, tremendous everyday and nightly enjoyment and great relaxation.
What we fell in love with was the wide open center hall plan and the unique lay-out of our home!
The two upstairs bedrooms are extremely separate with their own adjoining bathrooms for total privacy, if 2 couples are staying for vacation.
Our home has 2 storeys and this was very important to us. We had previously owned a 3 storey home for a couple of years. We found this arrangement awkward, as our friends would have to trudge past our 2nd floor bedroom up yet another flight of stairs to their bedroom.
The only drawback to our current 2 storey home and ideal layout for privacy is... everyone we know wants to come for a visit at our Island Queen Foundry home!
You can go out to the frivolity of the infamous Duval Street and always retreat to our Foundry home and tropical garden for quiet time together or fun with friends.
Your car is parked at the garden gate - convenient for luggage and groceries.
The home has an inspiring and comfortable atmosphere you wont easily forget, after your stay is over.
Not only is it the best location - Island Queen is a one-of-a-kind property!

My friends and I chose this Foundry unit for our week vacation getaway, and could not have been more pleased with the property. It is located within a gated community right off Mallory Square and Duval St (and within walking distance to all of the restaurants, bars, shopping in downtown Key West). We rented bikes for sightseeing and to travel to the nearby beaches. The townhouse itself was very clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and contained all of the comforts of a home away from home. The two french doors in the front of the house opened up onto the private patio, where we spent much time sitting around drinking marguaritas. The patio is surrounded by landscaped foliage which provided privacy against the neighbors and walkways. There is a shared, heated pool, which was somewhat small but never seemed to get crowded (probably because the beach is so close by). From the time I made the reservations months in advance through our vacation stay, Rosemary (the owner) was always eager to answer questions and provide suggestions favorite restaurants, bars etc. In addition, the property manager provided us with pick-up and drop-off service to the airport, which saved us cab fare. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!! You won't be disappointed!!
We've been staying at other Foundry unit for the past 8 years. This was our first stay in Rosemary's condo and it's in a separate and historical building. The Foundry is one of the best places to stay in Key West and this particular unit is the gem of them all. It's a two story unit, versus 3 and both bedrooms are on the second level and of equal size, with larger bathrooms than other Foundry unit.
As others have stated, Rosemary is the best and is very prompt in answering your request. She maintains this condo to excellent standards, as its also her home away from home. Unlike other rental units, where a property manager tends to be responsible for maintaining units, she personally takes that responsibility and it shows. The condo and its furnishing are excellent. The bedding, unlike many places is super comfortable, as well as linens etc. Rosemary takes pride in her property and it's wonderful that she is willing to rent it to us. We've already booked for next year.
Her patio is more than twice the size of other units and is very nicely finished. We enjoyed using it as it's well maintained too.
And Patty and Jim, the local representatives for Rosemary are very nice as well as prompt. We can't say enough about how nice they all are.
Our only concern is that this gem becomes so popular that it will be hard for us to rent it in the future.
I cannot say enough about this property, its owners and how wonderful our vacation was. Absolutely the best location in Key West! Everything about this home is perfect. Layout - Decor - Amenities - Privacy - Location are all as good as it gets! We've stayed here 3 years in a row and this home is in as perfect condition as it was 3 years ago. So well cared for with new updates throughout. Rosemary the owner is a pleasure to deal with. All details are meticulously taken care of and our security deposit was even returned before we even made it home from our trip! Couldn't ask for better service and communication from the owners or their local property managers Patty and Jim. All are wonderful to deal with and no surprises. I am one of those very cautious people regarding possible vacation scams. I would HIGHLY recommend renting from Rosemary. The most trustworthy and ethical owner you could ask for! Your vacation is safe with them....... and it doesn't get any better than this vacation home and location! Don't hesitate for a second to rent this home!! Just be sure to book a different week than me next year, the following year or the year after that :)
This condo in the Foundry section of the Truman Annex was amazing! The pictures are beautiful, but they don't do it justice--it is actually even nicer than represented. The decor is beautiful, the layout of the home is perfect for two couples, with two very private bedroom/bathroom areas upstairs. Also very nice half bath downstairs which was very convenient. This condo was spotless and very well maintained. All of the amenities you need for a wonderful stay were included--from kitchen dishes and utensils to a huge BBQ grill in the private, lovely patio area. Check in and customer service was ideal-- Patty and Jim met us with the keys and took great care of us. I just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at this condo in Key West. Very convenient to the pool, to Duval Street with all the shopping and dining you could ask for, and to Mallory Square for the best sunsets in the world! I promise you cannot go wrong booking this property--you will love it!!!
Our stay at this pristine townhouse couldn't have been more wonderful! We rented this townhouse with another couple and there was plenty or room to accommodate the four of us. The common living space was beautifully appointed and the kitchen was set up nicely, enabling us to whip up a few meals of our choice! The upstairs bedrooms were very private and each bedroom had its own private bathroom ... this is truly a plus, since many 2 bedroom Key West rentals share a bath. The downstairs powder room was also very convenient! I have to admit the beautiful patio and garden was our very favorite area ... it is such a "special" part of the living space ... the lush & manicured foiilage and the black wrought iron fencing lends to the making of a very private & serene patio ... a perfect place to read a book, listen to music, or just relaxing while enjoying cocktails & hors d'oeuvres before dinner ... Simply lovely! Rosemary & Mark were so easy to work with while reserving their home too! They couldn't have been more helpful! So, if you are looking for a beautiful townhouse & a convenient place to stay while in Key West, I would definitely recommend staying at this Truman Annex Oasis! All of the great reviews held true in our experiences at this property. The location is perfect and the property itself has a neat feel due the history of the property. It remains in great shape because the owner is rightfully particular about how it is cared for. It is perfect for two couples as we just used it.
