Our 12 properties are located in the heart of Grove with a country feel (an additional six cottages are currently under construction and will be completed by February, 2021). The quaint and clean cottages are backed by 15 private wooded acres on 1600 feet of Carey Bay waterfront. Feel free to roam! With six separate cottages available its the perfect place to bring friends and family yet have your own space. After a long day on the lake, watch the sun set over Carey Bay and then head back to your cozy cottage where you can grill some hamburgers and relax around a fire. Every cottage was designed with the discerning traveler in mind - granite counter tops, completely equipped kitchen, full sized washer and dryer, bathroom with custom shower... the list goes on. All the comforts of home, just smaller. We also have parking for a boat with water and electrical hookups and an outdoor security system.

Lake time! It's just a short walk behind the cottages to the lake. Explore our woods and enjoy the lake views. The shoreline is kept clean and in its natural state, it's a great place to relax and soak up the sound of the water. Dock the boat just a mile away at The Wolf Creek Park and Boating Facility, a top of the line fishing facility. Professional anglers come from all over the US to fish at Wolf Creek. They offer fishing tournaments and family events year round. Enjoy the other fun activities our area has to offer like various water sports, golfing, the state park, Har-ber Village, and Lendonwood Gardens, to name a few. If you don't mind a bit of a drive, tour Crystal Bridges Museum located an hour away but well worth it.

Amenities at the cottages include WiFi, washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen with cookware and dishes, coffee maker, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, Smart TV, beach towels, linens, and grill. Our area is very safe, but we have installed an outdoor surveillance system as extra security for our guests and their property.

The natural beauty of the lake and it's surroundings, along with the small town atmosphere are part of what we love so much about Grand Lake. We hope you enjoy your stay and love it here as much as we do!

The little cottage was perfect for what I needed it for. It's a 2 min drive from Dollar General for last minute items, about an 8 min drive from walmart.. I loved the boardwalk. Its very pretty out here.

Lakeside at grand lake

The property has a lot to offer in its little secluded quiet part of the shoreline of grand lake,,everything is new and up to date with a game room and a boardwalk and trails to a full rack of water toys right at the shoreline,,,,,,kayaks,tubes,big surfboard style floats,,life jackets,,, it’s a beautiful area and your minutes away from anything else you may wanna do or need ,,, we actually brought buggies down and made the short drive to hogans in Disney,,, great place as well!!! We all Look forward to coming back and I hope everyone has as good of a stay as we all did!!!

Everything you need and more

Stayed here over the Mercedes Benz Marathon week. Great location. Walkable to everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again if i come back to Birmingham.

New, clean, comfortable, convenient

This VRBO is so close to 5 stars, but I just can’t do it. These units are new, clean, and very comfortable. I was a tad concerned about the air conditioning situation, but was proven wrong; it kept things very cool with no problems on a mid 90 degree day. Location is fantastic as are the extras you get with your booking. Check in and check out are a bit laborious. Between VRBO and the management company, we received somewhere around 6 emails before checking in and never received the actual check in email that told us how to access the cottage. I checked spam/trash/etc, and no dice. The information was also not on the VRBO booking page. I called the number in the emails and the guy who answered was very kind and gave me the info we needed. This isn’t a complaint specifically about this property as much as it is for most vacation rentals: but it always irks me that there’s a litany of check out instructions. I get taking the trash out. However, a cleaning crew can do the dishes since there’s no dishwasher; especially since check out is at 10 and check in not until 4. That’s a bunch of time for a unit we basically cleaned ourselves, minus laundry! This would be a five star property if the check in communications weren’t so numerous and all the information got to me as promised. Overall, it’s a really good stay. We’re returning for a few days in July to really test out that air conditioning.

Perfect hidden gem

Our group of 4 friends had a great time at this cottage. Having 2 rooms with king beds was a plus. The location was perfect. We loved the raised deck out back that led to the water. Can't wait to come back in the summer when the water warms up to try out those kayaks.

Great getaway

We LOVED our cottage! It was spacious, modern, and super clean. The beds were very comfortable. Each cottage in Carey Bay is colorful and inviting. Adirondack chairs are throughout the property to enjoy the beautiful views. The gameroom was a great place to hang out when the fish weren't biting. We will definitely be back!

Adorable!

This little place is adorable. It is like a little resort hidden in Grove, Ok. Booking was easy, owners organized, clean, decorated great, and the beds were super comfy. They have a separate game room, multiple campsites set up, and kayak equipment ready to go.

Holy moly, y’all!!!

This place was FANTASTIC!!!! First of all, I love their pet policy. We have a 106 lb dog who’s very well behaved and it’s hard to find places that will allow pets his size. The location was great…very serene, very peaceful. The owners really think of everything. For example, the dryer settings are a little difficult to read since it’s stacked on top of the washer but I look down and there’s a foldable step stool! King size beds in both rooms, the kitchens had everything we needed, I could go on and on. We will definitely stay there again! Looking forward to coming back in the summer. Cannot recommend these cottages enough. Book it! You won’t be disappointed :)

Absolutely AMAZING property for Grove, Monkey Island or surrounding areas

This is a first class property - better than any hotel in the area and close to everything. Great location, easy access to lake, Grove & short drive to Monkey Island. Owners are amazing, easy to communicate with & the cottages are like new, spotlessly clean and very comfortable!! Only place we will stay from now on.

Early Spring season trip tp Grand Lake

The cottage was new and had adequate space for our needs. The raised deck in the trees was our favorite. This was our first time to Grand Lake and a little early in the vacation season. Probably not coming back to Grand Lake as we are not fishermen and could not find any other attractions to bring us back. Since the cottages are new, recommend a page of instructions for issues like dish soap in the hand soap dispenser at the sink, front door lock button not working....

Holy Moly, this place was incredible. Would definitely come back! Great place to build memories.

This place is one in a million! I would recommend this place to anybody of all ages! So much to do and will never get bored. The property is beautiful made, the property managers are very understanding and flexible, everything was just exactly what we were looking for!! Attractive and clean cabin

Very clean, cute, new cottages! Well stocked! Enjoyed our stay very much! Would definitely love to come back again soon! Really liked the lake chairs and multiple fire pits that are available. Easy process all the way around from booking through check in and checkout. A fully positive experience!

For the past 30 years we’ve called Grove home, raising our three children in this beautiful corner of Oklahoma.

Herb is a Builder and Endless Dreamer who wanted to create a memory-making property for vacationers coming to Grand Lake.

Lindsey is a Registered Nurse and Overthinker who now manages Herb’s dreams (and the properties).

We’re avid travelers, and while we’ve explored many incredible places and seen wonderful sights, there’s nothing quite like crossing Sailboat Bridge and coming HOME.

Our cabins are newly constructed, immaculately clean, and supplied with everything you need for a great stay at the lake. We have kayaks and paddle boards free for use, and a boardwalk that goes into a 15 acre forest. There are many properties around the Grand Lake area, but we have done our best to try to stand out.
