We found the energy at Bayhaven to be absolutely wonderful! Everything about it was calm and relaxing. Betsy and Ray were lovely, the cottage was beautiful and well stocked and I loved just floating in the bay.

Beautiful!

The view from the accommodation was outstanding, especially watching the sunset over the lake. Betsy was a tremendous host. Highly recommend.

Paradise

My partner and I and a couple of friends stayed at Bayhaven and it was a perfect getaway. The house was very nice and had everything we needed. The hosts are very generous! It was the perfect spot for swimming and kayaking and exploring the area. Highly recommend!!

This was the best accommodation we have ever stayed in, and if it comes up in your search, you really do not need to look any further. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and every detail had clearly been thoughtfully prepared for guests.The hosts were so kind and welcoming, thank you so much! Their warm hospitality, quick communication, and generous touches throughout our stay made the experience feel truly special.Having the water literally at our front steps was absolutely incredible and made the stay unforgettable. Being able to step outside and immediately enjoy the view and the waterfront was a real highlight for us.We will definitely be back. 5 stars!! Just brilliant!

The unit was new, very clean, beautiful view of McKenzie Bay. Loved the swim in the morning. Enjoyed the kayak. Really great hosts! Helped fix my bike rack. We definitely are going to come back again. One of the best stays in New Zealand.
