20 3rd Ave., West and first Street.Great harbor view Right in the heart of town.
A two bedroom one bath with a pull out couch. Private off road parking in the summer & on the road in the winter. The house was remodeled and has a great yard with an awesome view over looking the harbor and Lake Superior.
This was My Mom and Dad’s house. We put a lot into the house and want it cared for the way we think it should. This is why we have a no dogs and kids between the ages of three and ten. Sorry about this but we have your reasons it’s not that we don’t like dogs or kids. That’s not it. We hope you stay with us and love The View as much as our family.
Thanks Mickey and Dee

This house is in a perfect location in GM! We walked all over and enjoyed the view of the lake. The house is cozy and clean and had everything we needed. We contacted the host once with a question and he was gracious and charming and funny. Would recommend and stay here again.
The house was clean and spacious. It was obvious the hosts had thought about what guests might need. We had a comfortable and relaxing vacation and particularly enjoyed the lake view and how easy it was to walk everywhere in town.
We enjoyed the long weekend in Grand Marais. The house was very nice and it has a gorgeous view of the harbor and Lake Superior. Walking distance to almost anywhere you might want to go in town. The only complaint was the utensils in the kitchen for cooking was lacking.
This property far exceeded our expectations! It was clean, roomy and had a very relaxing and homey feel to it. Mickey was very helpful and willing to answer any questions we had.
Very clean, well equipped, and nicely updated. Spacious great room and the view is fantastic. Close to everything Grand Marais has to offer. Mickey was great and very responsive.
We loved it here! Highly recommend. It was a great location, beautiful view, well kept home and it was overall a great experience! Communication was easy and quick, check in was easy, and we felt comfortable the whole trip. Would stay again.
This very friendly owner deserves a million stars! Cleanliness is number one on our list of importance and they met all of our high standards. House is not only super clean but it’s adorable and is set in the perfect location with an incredible view. Don’t hesitate to stay here!
We do a North Shore trip every Fall. It was so great to be in the heart of Grand Marais just blocks from the lake and restaurants with a wonderful view from the house. Check-in was easy and we had no issues. Thank you!
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during a North Shore trip to enjoy fall colors and do some hiking in state parks.
Super-clean, we’ll-equipped and located within easy walking distance from the best of Grand Marais.
I was surprised how large the main room was, even though the photos showed it that way. Thankful for recliners and lovely view and deck. Thoughtful owner responded quickly and we even got to meet him. Comfortable beds. Appreciated the full kitchen that had condiments light ketchup and mayonnaise, etc. Right next to brewery but they close early and were never loud. Close to everything if you want to go and do, but lovely to just stay and relax there, too!
We have nothing but great things to say about the rental. The location can't be beat! The rental was clean and well-stocked with needed supplies. We would definitely stay again!
Beautifully remodeled “home with a view!”
Everything you need is here and you’ll want to stay longer.
Walk to World’s Best Donuts to start your day.
Enjoy this terrific town.
Mickey, the owner, also stopped by to say, “Hi” and see if we needed anything. He’s a great Ambassador and resource for his hometown GM!
Makes you feel as if you have a friend in town.
My husband and I spent a long weekend in Grand Marais and hiked in the area. The house was a perfect home base for taking in the north shore. We had everything we needed and more. It is very conveniently located so we didn’t drive in town at all. The views from the deck or out the living room window paired perfectly with my morning coffee. Would highly recommended!
We love Grand Marais! We’ve been coming for years but always stayed at the municipal campground and loved it. After selling our camper, we had to find a new way to get our World’s Best Donuts and enjoy GM. Mickey and Dee’s place is perfect! Awesome location, easy walk from everything. Tons of thoughtful touches throughout. Mickey was responsive and patient when we were clueless and couldn’t figure something out. Super comfortable beds, nice linens and towels. Super clean. Nice new flooring, huge round dining table which was great for games and a fantastic deck to enjoy the lake breeze. We will definitely try to get in again.
