The Space
Welcome to Muskoka! Please note that during the shoulder season it is a 3-night minimum stay and during the high-season we offer Friday check-ins, with a 7-night minimum stay.

Winter
Getaway Bay Cottage is fully winterized. With added heat pumps, heated water lines, an electric fireplace, and the unforgettable wood-fired hot tub, it’s an ideal paradise for snowmobile lovers, ice fishing enthusiasts, or anyone looking for a relaxing winter escape. However, we want to note that it may not always be accessible by road in the winter months. We recommend that guests park at Mountain Trout House Marina if there has been significant snowfall (instructions will be provided upon booking) and hike the trail to the cottage. It’s only about a 5-minute walk, though it is partially uphill. We suggest bringing sleds or toboggans to help carry your supplies.

The experience begins the moment you leave your home and continues until you arrive. We offer a true adventure for your entire group.

Summer
Getaway Bay Cottage is fully accessible during the spring, summer, and fall months, with many parking areas available. Enjoy activities like exploring the area, swimming, kayaking, boating, hiking, and relaxing in the wood-fired hot tub.

Our cottage features 4 cozy bedrooms, one full bathroom, a downstairs game room, living room, dining room, kitchen, covered porch, and back deck with a BBQ. There are two bonfire areas, and once you descend the stone steps, you’ll find a large lakefront dock with your very own wood-burning hot tub.

This experience may not be suitable for individuals with mobility challenges, as there is a long stretch of stone stairs to access the lakefront dock and hot tub.
