Great house, extra room and beds made the stay wonderful. Could have used some extra pillows, but we did pull them off the beds we were not using. Fire pit area was really nice, didn’t light the fire but a nice place to hang out with the family. Only issues I can think of would be that there is only one TV for the house, the hot water was not super hot (for those who like extra hot water), and we could only find one extra blanket. Not really complaints, just things to be aware of. Truly we were very happy with the stay.

We could not use outdoor space because the grass was overgrown and we were told that there were snakes in the tall grass. We brought it to the attention of the manager who agreed that there were snakes and that the grass would be cut.

Another Wonderful Stay!

We have stayed at this property for the past four years and we had another great stay the week leading up to Thanksgiving. My wife and I and our two teenage children love the property and the living space is perfect for a family of four. We look forward to staying there in the future.

Excellent Pocono Vacation

The was property and owner (Nancy) were as advertised! I didn't have any issue with cleanliness, appliances, etc. I had a few minor question which Nancy responded to immediately. The kitchen was well stocked with garbage bags, dish detergent, cleaning supplies and ample salt, pepper, olive oil, flour and day-to-day items that made shopping easy. There was ample silverware, glasses, cooking utensils, etc to allow one to cook almost anything. I don't know what others buys when on vacation but we found everything we needed at Ahart's (supermarket), liquor store (same location as Ahart's), the Butcher Shoppe for excellent beef and veal cuts and most other meats. One of our best finds was the Pinewood Deli st before the entrance to our gated community. They had excellent subs both hot and cold at reasonable prices plus fresh potato salad (my wife loved it), coleslaw and sundry items such as eggs, juice, milk and beer in case of emergency. In terms of restaurants, we didn't eat out often but liked Murph's Hide Away for lunch and dinner. Several other places close by but we did not try them. A feature we especially enjoyed was the tub tub. It was clean and well-maintained. The serviceman came to take care of the chemical maintenance and make sure it was working properly midway through our 2 day stay. In summary, it was an excellent place to stay and relax! A nest fit for a queen

It was a pleasure staying with Nancy and her nest. She is extremely easy to work with and great at communicating. The house I have to stress is very clean! Fully stocked with kitchen items you might need, but again, everything was very clean upon arrival. Beds were comfy, firepit was large and had great seating, as well as a great grill. The family of 8 were very comfortable here. The hot tub was very clean and I want to stress this because our other family members stayed in the same arrowhead complex and their house had a hot tub that was dirty and required maintenance. Nancy's Nest took all the worry out of vacationing and allowed us to enjoy ourselves. Also the house is in a great location in regards to the pools and beaches. 5 star all the way!

Great Location and accommodation

Didn’t realized how big this community was, it has all the necessary amenities. The house was great and close drive to the lake beach and pools. The check-in process was unique for me but not cumbersome. Nancy was very accommodating and provided the needed information to ensure we had a perfect weekend stay.

Lovely Getaway Spot

We loved Nancy’s Nest! We were a group of four college friends getting together from all over. We had another VRBO booked that fell through, but I’m so glad we found Nancy’s place! Nancy was helpful and friendly from the jump - she provided us with all the information we needed and was available whenever we had questions. The house was roomy, very clean, and had all we needed. The beds and sitting areas were very comfortable, and it was great having the rooms on different floors for a bit of privacy. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cooking tools, plus some cleaning supplies from previous renters. The hot tub was perfect after a cold day of skiing, and the fire place made the living room so cozy! The house was very convenient to skiing, restaurants, and the outlet mall. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would love to visit again if we’re in the area!

Great Thanksgiving retreat

Nancy’s home was immaculately clean and roomy. Plenty of space for a family of 4. The hot tub was a nice bonus and there were plenty of hiking trails nearby. We would absolutely return for another visit!

Great house Great location

We stayed with our son and his family. The kids loved the pools and fishing at the lake. The property was very clean. The host was very responsive to questions. We had 4 adults and 2 kids 6 & 9. Only issue was there wasn’t enough pots to really cook for all of us. But overall excellent would definitely stay there again. I would just make a different menu lol.

Friends for a Lifetime Reunion

We were a group of 8 senior citizens who have been friends since elementary school. Because of COVID, we have not been able to get together and this was the first time we were reuniting in a few years. I was the organizer for the group and I was concerned about everybody being happy with the property. There was no need to worry. The house was perfect for our group. The home is quite lovely and very clean. The hot tub was a great addition for a group of people with "old bones". Appliances were updated and the open concept of the kitchen, living and dining areas made it extremely easy for us to be together throughout the day. Nancy was a wonderful host who was very responsive to all the questions that I had before arriving. Because everything was in such great condition in the house, we did not need to contact Nancy while we were there but she contacted me the day that we checked out to be sure that everything went well. I highly recommend this property.

Immaculate

No dust anywhere. Nothing worn. Spotless windows and mirrors. All perfect condition. Lots of hangers in the closet. Dishwasher pods and washing machine detergent were found. Paper towels, toilet paper, sponges, hand sanitizer, liquid hand soap, dishwashing liquid, and paper hand towels were stocked or left behind by previous renters. House nicely laid out for maximum use.. Shelves for bathroom toiletries. Central Air works nicely. Lots of TV channels.
