Nice condo in Ocean City (MD)

My cousin and I stayed 3 nights at this condo on the weekend of the Boardwalk Rock Festival (May 16-17-18 2025). Well located, clean, well equipped, air conditioning working well and ceiling fan in the room. Communication with the property manager was great. Overall great experience. Would recommend.

The listing didn't mention that I had to bring my own TOILET PAPER, BED LINENS, AND TOWELS. I would've thought twice before selecting this place. I have never had to bring these basic items to any place that I have ever rented. Overall the place was okay, but I was really disappointed that I had to provide these cheap and basic items. The fold out sofa mattress is also terrible and is basically just springs with a paper thin layer of cotton. Decent for a weekend stay. Not really a happening area though. I also had to request check in procedures, because no one ever messaged me leading up to check in date. Has a balcony, but the view is the back of a business building and their large garbage disposal bin.

Thank you, On March 30th, 2025 when the reservation was made, I emailed the lodging agreement to you and highlighted your check-in procedure as well as what you needed to bring. The letter also provided you contact info for local linen companies for you to rent the sheets and towels if you preferred not to bring your own. You were provided the code to the lockbox prior to your arrival, which you used when you arrived. I am sorry these instructions were not clear. Grace

We had a great week at ocean city and loved how close it was to north side park. I’m very confused as to why we have to pay a cleaning fee since we first got there and we had to mop our own floors since they were extremely gross. At check out, we were given a list of chores to “clean the condo”. Run dish washer, put away dishes, take out all trash, make beds, take everything out of the fridge and freezer and to leave it as clean as it was when we got there. If we do that, then there’s truly no point for a cleaning crew since we are doing everything. Just another pointless fee to make it more unaffordable for most. We literally did all the chores at check out so what is even left for a cleaning crew to do that takes them from 10am possibly till 6pm for the next group of people to move into the condo?? Absolutely ridiculous.

Thank you for your feedback. We certainly do not expect you to clean the unit upon arrival and we do not charge you a cleaning fee. We make it very clear to all Guests if you’re not satisfied with the clean to let me know immediately so i could send the cleaners back immediately. Until now I had no knowledge that you were unhappy with the clean. Which is most unfortunate. Upon checkout, we asked the guests to leave the unit as they found it meaning remove your shampoos and soaps and condiments from the refrigerator and bathrooms. Anything that you brought in to take out. We do expect you to clean your dishes, put them away. This is explained on the check-in package which also states to contact us immediately for Cleaning or Maintenance issues. I’m very sorry that we did not have an opportunity to meet your expectations. I sincerely appreciate your feedback. Grace
