We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very efficient & comfortable. It was an older building and there were some things needing attention or repair. We communicated with the owner/manager these items and expressed our hope that it would help with future rentals. All in all, the mountain air was wonderful.
Much work needs to be done here. Rip out extremely dirty living room carpet, fix screen door, replace bedroom fan that doesn’t work, repair touchy outlet for living room fan and light, replace shower head in front bathroom which is way too high for any normal person. Clean out cupboards with outdated products and especially medicine cabinet. The kitchen equipment is well stocked and grill is great. Lockbox is broken and keyless entry needs to be reliable; wouldn’t work when we came.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your comments, and they’ve shared the following:– We wish you had reached out during your stay. We would’ve been glad to assist in real time, but unfortunately, we didn’t hear from you. The carpets will be professionally cleaned during the next break in guests, and we regularly deep clean the cabin between seasons.– The shock absorber on the screen door had come off, but has since been replaced. A new fan was purchased for the bedroom, and we also installed a portable AC for additional comfort. The shower head was confirmed to be at a standard, appropriate height. The outlet in the living room was impacted by a faulty multi-outlet device, which has been removed, so the outlet now functions as expected.– We checked both the keyless entry and the lockbox and confirmed they’re working properly. We know how important a smooth arrival is, so we’ll continue to keep a close eye on this.– Our cleaners have been asked to check for and remove any expired items in cupboards and the medicine cabinet moving forward.We've addressed your comments with the relevant teams so that future guests will receive the exceptional service we strive to provide.
Upon entering the property, there was a strong musty odor. The closets were in disarray, with old pillows and comforters scattered on the floor. The kitchen cabinets contained expired food, which I discarded, and there were dried peppers spread throughout. The walls were dirty, and the refrigerator door handle was noticeably unclean. Additionally, opening any cabinets in the kitchen or bathroom released an unpleasant odor. The pots and pans provided are old and worn. Overall, it’s clear that the property has not been maintained with care or pride by the management.

Unacceptable. Not maintained. The front entrance screen door broken, filthy looking carpets, window screens missing and dont fit, windows don't seal etc! Ive traveled all over and this is the most unkempt home I've ever. Whoever allows this house to be rented does not seem to respect us renters. I couldnt wait to leave. Please dont rent it again until someone brings it into an acceptable state.

They're cleaned between each guest, and no similar concerns have been reported by other guests.- We’ve been transparent about the property’s condition through our professional listing photos, which accurately reflect its current state.
