Bright, spacious, modern house located in a quiet, family oriented neighbourhood in the picturesque village of Avoca, County Wicklow! Quiet, peaceful, overlooking a field with a 300 year old oak tree and just a short walk to the local pub and the Church on Sunday.
On the ground floor, our house has a great kitchen with a large island and lots of household items you might need for your stay. The Living room has doors to make it quiet and private for watching TV or reading a book on the reclining leather couches. There are even USB chargers at the side ends of the couches. We have a beautiful sunroom overlooking the interlocking patio and garden/backyard with 2 big couches to relax on. The patio is equipped with a wrought iron patio table and chairs. The ground floor also has an office an a utility room at the back of the house which includes the half bathroom and the laundry facilities. There are 5 bedrooms. Four of the bedrooms are on the second floor with 2 ensuite bathrooms and one main bathroom. There is one bedroom on the third floor with an ensuite bathroom and skylights.
Avoca is a great place to explore Wicklow County and Dublin County from. So many day trips within 1-2 hours. Glendalough Monastic Site, Powerscourt Estate and Gardens, Newgrange World Heritage site, The Wicklow Gaol, and many Wicklow Way Mountain walks. There are many estate homes to visit; Avondale House & Treetop Walk, Killruddery House, and Kilmacurragh National Botanic Garden. Like to Golf? There is also great Golfing at Mecreddin Village Golf, The European Club, Woodenbridge Golf Club (2 minutes away), and so much more; an Aquarium, horseback riding, and alpacas, just to name a few. Brittas Bay Beach is 15-20 minutes away! AND don't forget the Famous Avoca Handweaver's and Gift Shop. It's the OG.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
No glass in the green recycle bin. Please wash all glass and leave in the back utility room. We will recycle for you.
Garbage: Use one side for garbage and one side for recycling. Empty as needed into the bins outside. Green is the recycle bin.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please be respectful of the family neighbourhood by not using the outdoor patio after 11 pm
