We had a wonderful stay at this sweet home. The owner truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. The home was filled with thoughtful touches and had everything we could possibly need. It felt like home. Many thanks to the owner!
Very clean and well kept home. The owner stopped by to make sure our stay was going OK and to see if we needed anything. Enjoyed spending time in Port Hawkesbury and sitting by the water at the nearby rocky shore. Owner has good directions on how to get to get to other nearby sandy beaches.

Thank you Jon, you were communicative and appreciative of the space. A wonderful guest who we'd love to host again. Safe travels!
The house was adorable, very comfortable, really cozy and we felt like we were really staying in our own home. It overlooked the bay had great views. Well stock kitchen, comfortable beds, great lawn and really friendly for our dog Luna-- The location was easy to find and easy to get to local beaches and the town of guysboro to listen to music. Plus it was so quiet we could sit on the screen and porch or sit in the garden and just gaze and be very peaceful -- We were especially grateful to the host who handled a minor emergency quickly easily and they made it simple and not a bother at all

Why they chose this property
Sand Point is where my family is from and where my siblings and parents grew up. This house is deeply rooted in our family’s history and is very special to us. My grandparents renovated the property many years ago and have always cherished it. They hosted many summer vacations and holidays here, serving great food and offering the best company.
What makes this property unique
What makes our property truly unique is its role as the backdrop to generations of family memories. It’s not just the beautiful renovations my grandparents made, or the view out to the Strait, but the way this place has been a steady presence through holidays, laughter, and long conversations over homemade meals.
