Four family members stayed here while visiting The Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. Very comfortable and clean home.
The owners are very nice and available for you if needed.
We were very happy with all the property had to offer us this week. Tom was very helpful in showing us around. We all enjoyed the pool and the quick 25 minute drive to Cooperstown Dreams Park, with the most beautiful views on the way!
The hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The house was suitable for the price but would have liked washer/dryer, more basic kitchen supplies (i.e. common spices/seasoning, food storage containers, ziplock), nicer neighborhood, and shorter distance to Cooperstown Dreams Park. We were there for baseball so these conveniences would have been helpful. You can easily prepare accordingly ahead of time but I did not. The drive is a good 30 mins from the park and you will need to include the other things on your grocery list. The neighborhood was not very nice but again appropriate for the price. Overall our stay was good. I just know how hectic it is for families traveling so far for baseball trying to think of everything. I just want to help you be prepared. For next kid playing at Cooperstown we will try to get closer to the park and stay on the lake for more convenience and easily accessible fun.
The house was very clean, the yard and pool were pristine. We spent most of the days at the dreams park so we didn’t get to enjoy the backyard or pool. It would be helpful to have check in time be a bit earlier and the checkout time a bit later than 9am.
Melissa and Tom were such great hosts. The house was clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Tom’s restaurant recommendations were spot on. The swimming pool was a great bonus! We enjoyed cooling off after a long day at Cooperstown Dreams Park.
We came for a family wedding. The home served our needs, and we really enjoyed the pool.
Check out time should be later than 9am. The screen door didn’t close well, and the toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom is loose - slid to the right every time you sat on it. Due to the age and structure of the home there are several tripping hazards. We moved the small throw rugs to cover and remind us after a couple stubbed toes. Two dogs next door can be bothersome with their barking at times. Location is close to stores, gas and restaurants.
Comfortable home, owner very helpful- get ice cream at The Shake. Unfortunately it rained most of stay so didn’t get to use pool but it was very clean.
Cute little property about 20 minutes from Cooperstown. It has a pool which was nice for the family to cool off in after the long days at the ball park.
We'll equipped house and great location to Cooperstown. Updated kitchen and bathrooms with a large and comfortable living room. We went to the Baseball Hall of Fame, Ommegang brewery and a local park with hiking trails. All within a 25 minute drive from the house. Pool was large and clean. Would definitely consider renting again.
Nice, clean house close to Cooperstown- great pool
I stayed with my family and there was plenty of room for the three of us. Two bedrooms had two twin beds each, plus a main bedroom with larger bed. AC in each bedroom. Pool was clean and fun.
Melissa and Tom were great hosts! Everything was as seen on the listing. Everything was very clean. The house was stocked with everything you could need. You can tell that the hosts care a lot about the house and the guests enjoying their stay.
We had a short stay there at Tom and Melissa's house. Let me tell you - they are wonderful people. Great communication, will accommodate your needs as/when needed. Melissa decorated the house, feels like a home away from home - but much better. Attention to details is just astounding !!! Very clean and well taken care of. The kitchen is loaded with everything you need to cook "chief's meals". Location is wonderful. Views are amazing, backyard and pool with nice pool deck and included floaters are beautiful. They have a nice fire pit in the backyard with provided firewood. Tom took care of us explaining every little detail about the house amenities, local entertainment and food places. There's a lake about 5 minutes drive from the house. This is a gem of a location. Thank You very much Tom and Melissa !!! We are excited to come and stay there again soon.

Nice place with lack of privacy
Beautiful house but the host pop up twice once when me and my wife were in the pool in the middle of the day with unnecessary information 🤦♂️And check out time is at nine and the host pop up at 8:45 at the neighbors house to check up on us once again I felt as if I had eyes on me the whole time especially with the ring camera pointing right at the pool!?!? Besides that I had a good experience but would not do it again
This house was a wonderful find! The hosts Tom and Melissa were very communicative and friendly. Tom met us at check-in to give us the keys. He is genuinely a nice guy and so interesting to talk to. The yard and inside of the house were completely renovated within the last 2 years. I kept telling my husband how lucky we were to find such a clean/updated house. The kitchen is well stocked with a nice coffee maker, any pans/utensils you could think of, spices, etc. The pool and backyard were great, and the house is stocked with games for kids (Hungry Hungry Hippos, puzzles, books, etc.). The area is very safe, and the house is conveniently located near the main park (that has a Farmer's Market on Saturdays durng the summer, and a small playground for kids), a Price Chopper, a little fruit stand and restaurants. Tom is knowledgable of the area and can give recommendations on where to eat, plus the house has many menus from nearby restaurants. I highly recommend this house! It will not disappoint. We would gladly stay again when our travels take us back to the area.
