Great little cabin surrounded by trees and just steps from the river. Loved sitting out at the river's edge in the mornings. Very clean cabin, well stocked kitchen, good coffee bar. The property had a large stack of wood available for a fire. However, was disappointed there was not any wood sized to use in the fireplace. Everything was way too big and could only be used in the outdoor fire pit. Also, there were no small logs and kindling to start a fire.

I would like to clarify that firewood is not listed as an amenity, nor does our listing indicate that firewood, kindling, or fireplace-ready logs are provided. Guests wishing to enjoy a fire are welcome to bring their own supplies. While we understand your disappointment, it is equally disappointing to receive a lower rating based on an expectation that was never represented as part of the rental. We work hard to provide an exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-equipped cabin and believe reviews should reflect the amenities and accommodations actually advertised.

My husband and I spent the weekend here to celebrate our one year anniversary! We enjoyed kayaking on the river even though it was quite a challenge getting past the fast moving water but we wanted a challenge! We were hoping to go fishing but didnt see many fish so just decided to enjoy being on the water and taking in the sights. We also enjoyed drinking coffee pn the deck and listening to birds with our bird identifier app! The house was very clean. Had everything we needed (and more!!) And was so cozy and inviting. We will definitely be back again. Thanks for opening up your space to us!

Property is absolutely beautiful! So relaxing. Hosts were accommodating when we asked for a late checkout to continue enjoying the property. We did have to reach out to the owners to obtain entry door codes. Issue to note, we tripped the breaker when running the microwave and running the coffee makers, It was not a big deal but wanted others to be aware so they weren't surprised. Having a garage to park in was an added bonus. We were attending a wedding where it rained all day. Being able to get into the vehicle without having to go out in the pouring rain was great. We would definitely stay here again.

We were looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation in the middle of nature to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and this place was perfect! The sound of the flowing river right out of the back door was our favorite part. The home was very clean and had everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. It includes a garage that you can park in, which was a very nice bonus. We enjoyed the firepit in the backyard on a cooler night. There are 2 adult kayaks available to use with paddles and life jackets. We are beginner kayakers and had some questions about the river. The host quickly responded with some tips and helpful information. Unfortunately, the river current in addition to large boulders in the water were a little too much for us to handle so we had to pretty quickly abandon our attempt. That disappointment did not ruin our vacation and was no fault of the host. You can still enjoy the water in different ways if you can't utilize the kayaks. The height of the water and the weather determine your adventure in that regard so stay safe! One other word of caution about the river is it may be difficult to get into it for those with mobility issues. There's more than a foot drop from the grass to the water, so you either need to sit down and enter or hold on to a tree stump while lowering yourself in. Overall, we had an amazing time staying at this wonderful and cozy home and hope to return sometime soon! Cannot recommend enough! Thank you!!
