The lock on the door was not working. When we arrived and tried several times, called management, tried again for several times and lock never opened THEN they gave us the code for the key. That should have been the first thing...plus its easier to use the back door bc that is where you park.The house was one of the cleanest places we have stayed. Well suited for a family with kids (we did not but they would have loved it- shopping trip for the girls). perfectly located for Boerne, New Braunsfel/Gruene and the outlet in SM.

I chose this property because the host was responsive when I asked questions before our arrival, and the place looked like it would be a fun spot for a family getaway. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations.When we arrived, we noticed spiderwebs throughout the property, dirty floors, sticky kitchen counters, and towels with brownish-orange stains. The upstairs bathroom was also very difficult to look at. The overall cleanliness made us uncomfortable, and my child and dog did not feel comfortable spending time in the living room, so they ended up sleeping with us.The property has several fun amenities, but unfortunately, many of the games and activities, including the basketball hoops, hockey table, Connect Four game, and mini golf mat, were broken, incomplete, or unusable. This was disappointing, especially since these features were part of what made the property appealing to us.The backyard was probably the best part of our stay, but even the hot tub had an unpleasant, stagnant smell and did not appear clean enough to use.I genuinely wanted my family to have a fun and relaxing getaway, so it was disappointing that things turned out this way. I wish the property had been better maintained and cleaned before our arrival. With more attention to cleanliness, working amenities, and overall upkeep, this place could offer a much better experience for future guests.
