Situated alongside mature olive trees on a large waterfront property in Clendon Cove, the Olive Studio is set back from the beach and incorporates a double bed, kitchenette (with microwave, benchtop cooker, electric frypan, toaster and electric jug) living area (with small couch and table and chairs, and smart TV with Netflix) and an ensuite bathroom with shower. A ranchslider opens onto a deck with a garden view and a glimpse of the sea. Complimentary wifi and ample parking are included. Midway between Russell and Rawhiti this is a tranquil place to relax, kayak on the complimentary kayaks and is a base for Bay of Islands sight-seeing and the Cape Brett Walk. Suitable for boats up to 6m there is a tidal boat ramp (2 hrs before and after high tide) into Whakawhiti stream opening out to Clendon Cove. All tide launching is available at Te Uenga about 5km away. Beach fire is shared with Homestead and Studio allowed to be lit with permission when there is no fire ban. Clendon Cove Olive Studio may be booked in conjunction with Clendon Lodge Homestead (5 bedroom) or Clendon Lodge Studio (2 bedroom).
