Behind its striking c1890s stone façade, Blackbird blends rich character with refined, contemporary design. Beyond the private garden path and keyless entry lies a modern interior, thoughtfully restored with deep respect for its heritage. The original bones exude warmth, now paired with high-end finishes and curated furnishings that bring the home confidently into the 21st century.
The living area is designed for comfort and connection, featuring a deep five-seater sofa, coffee table, curated reads, and a TV all set beneath high ceilings and softened by natural light. Reverse-cycle air conditioning ensures year-round comfort.
In the kitchen, clean lines and warm timber tones frame a suite of high-end appliances, including a ceramic cooktop, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and Nespresso machine. A high-top dining table provides a spot for casual meals, with further seating available in the courtyard. Outdoors, a pergola-covered dining area shaded by century-old vines seats eight and includes a full-sized BBQ—ideal for laid-back entertaining and extended stays.
The two main bedrooms feature queen beds, built-in storage, and a calm, layered aesthetic. The third bedroom is tailored for flexibility, with a custom bunk, pull-out trundle, and a double sofa bed — perfect for kids or extra guests. The bathroom features an open shower, double vanity, under-sink storage and continuous hot water, along with locally made, organic body and hair care. Hidden laundry facilities with a washer, iron and board are neatly integrated for longer stays. There is a clothesline outside.
Off-street parking adds extra convenience for beach days and city outings.

Please treat the our home as if it were your own. Kindly leave the property in a tidy condition upon departure. Unexpected additional cleaning cost will be forwarded to you.
$200AUD cleaning/deodorising fee charged if guest is found to have been smoking in the property.
CHECK OUT: Check out strictly at 10AM. Additional charges will be incurred for our cleaners time if not vacant upon their arrival. We charge $30AUD for the first 30 minutes, and $60AUD for every 30-minutes after this.
LOST KEYS/LOCKOUTS: Please keep the property key with you all the time during your stay. Lost key/emergency key delivery charges will be $180AUD plus key replacement fee or cost of a locksmith.
LOST PROPERTY: For any items left behind - the host will hold the item for a maximum of 30 days from check-out date after which time they will be considered abandoned and disposed of or donated. During the 30 day collection period, collection can be arranged by way of the guest providing a prepaid postage bag to a supplied address or the item can be collected in person at an agreed time and location.
